did a boy just say a good x-men movie will be like GOTG? oh wow....the ignorance is rich. Or....the real statement was that it would be about more than just Wolverine if Marvel made it. Obviously the tone of the movie would be different just like it's different when they make a Capt America movie. Do I think they put too much focus on wolverine, true but in X2 many of these characters (storm, pyro, bobby, jean, nightcrawler_) all had their great moments both in story and action . they did more than most of the characters do on the avengers team movies because X2 plays out as a grounded drama and a serious one with little action. reason X2 still stands superior to a 'fun' cgi thin plotted action generic film like avengers and gotg. And no, the tone of the movie would not be different. marvel will dumb it down and turn it to comedy since marvel will see it as a 'team superhero' movie which means more toys and more kid friendly approach, so kids can have their ''favorite characters on the team'' and buy their toys. Please do you think it is a coincidence that the team movies of MCU(Avengers and GOTG) just happens to be their most childish, joke-ey and generic of the bunch. their solo films are less childish i.e Iron Man 1, Dr Strange, Thor 1. the fact that you put GOTG and X-Men in the same sentence is highly offensive. And no, I do not want a Captain America tone, because the captain america movies have awful cinematography because MCU is still obsessed in keeping everything superficially light and bright that still ruins the tone of those movies. Also, the 3rd act of the captain america movies has too much action and little story telling.

Nightcrawler was a caricature, Storm barely did anything of note, Jean was a moron and an object of lust, Bobby and Pyro were minor. No, just a rehash of X1 that refused to push the envelope. It had no competition and now has nostalgia on its side. Put it out now and it wouldn't do as well. No, just not be ashamed of its origins. Says you. Yes, Guardians is too revolutionary to be lumped in there with a relic. Yeah, too 3-Dimensional for X-Men.

The delusions of FoX-Men fans never fails to amuse me. oh sure, like the mcu movies, mcu fan crazies don't have any thing of substance to say. that is what happens when you speak facts.

Apparently the deal might be back on. Nah, it's never going to happen. The A-listers on the X-teams will stay safely away from the riffraff D-listers of the MCU for the foreseeable future.

Nah, Sony only tricked Disney so they could send the Trojan horse Homecoming out into the world to destroy the MCU's continuity so fans everywhere the world over would clamor for a reboot of the entire MCU.

The MCU will be rebooted. AS WILL YOUR FRIENDS.

Note the depth and unimpeachable characterization. 2007 wants its "savage internet hipster wit" back. This is... the best you can do in terms of insulting the X-flicks, kiddo? Yikes. Edited to add: ooh! Maybe a SUPER lazy prequel joke would help add even more gravity to this cutting edge contribution to our discourse. Or maybe a super "contemporary" swipe at the Green Lantern movie? That's... at least from sooner than 10+ years ago? Or maybe just post "hee hee hee" and leave it? Beyond that it tends to get embarrassing. Just some friendly tips. Good luck, socko.

Also, the 3rd act of the captain america movies has too much action and little story telling. An argument built upon "This is what Marvel would do" isn't convincing when we already know exactly what Fox would do. There is no supposition with Fox. We know they are obsessed with Wolverine to the detriment of all the other characters. We know they will make supporting characters out of Storm, Jean, Cyclops, Rogue, Colossus, and Kitty Pryde. We know they will completely fail with great stories like the Dark Phoenix Saga and Age of Apocalypse. We know they will waste great characters like Dr Doom, Juggernaut, Galactus, Silver Surfer, and Apocalypse. This is what Fox is. They've proved it for 18 years. There is no guesswork here and there is no logical defense for the Fox fail. "Great moments" is all you can come up with instead of "real characters" like in Marvel movies. Nice job Fox in making Nightcrawler a real character in one movie...before shoving him into the background again so you could get back to your Wolverine obsession. And another poor argument is ignoring any example that doesn't support your belief that "all Marvel movies are the same". No...they are not. We have the real world examples right in front of us so your attempt to claim something to the contrary to reality obviously isn't going to work. No one said the "tone" would be like GotG or Cap 2....that's you ignoring the fact that Marvel does not use one "tone" in their movies. Obviously an X-men movie would have its own tone. Your comments concerning Capt America movies are not based on anything logical. Just sounds like someone who wants to watch an Oscar bait drama. Newflash.... comic book movies are going to have a lot of action at the end. Fake fanboy complaint. Go ahead and try to find one that doesn't do that. Maybe you believe Fox doesn't have big action scenes at the end of their failed CBM efforts?

Never said, that cbms should be Rated-R. Only if it fit with the character. Right, I'm sure you'd be one of the ones wanting to see Teenager Spider-man having anal on-screen with Teen MJ right? After all, it "fits the character". Eww. You have sick fantasies
