No, its not true. He saves more lives because he's more able to than most other superheroes. Even Ironman. Well, excuse Captain America for not being able to fly or have all the flashy life-saving powers Supes. The MCU heroes are every bit as heroic as Superman. So fuck you. Fuck you and your obvious bias towards the DCEU. No wonder you let the trolls basically run the MCU board. You think its funny, don't you? And excuse for the MCU heroes for having flaws and making mistakes. Yeah, like Superman's never made a mistake that cost people their lives. Oh, wait, he did. He took the fight with Zod right through Smallville and basically leveled Metropolis with his war. And the film dares to act like that was a happy ending. Stop crying you do this every single time someone says anything negative about the MCU, no wonder you constantly tag me with problems. Captain America doesn't need to be able to fly in order to have a montage of him being shown to save people. He doesn't have to go all over the world and pull ships. Thor can do those things and he's had no montage. The difference with Zod and Superman is that he had no choice. He tried to get the Kryptonians out of Smallville but struggled to do so. His fight with Zod may have cost innocent lives but Zod was not his fault and everyone would have died period had he not fought at all. Them having characters flaws and making mistakes is fine. Them making Ultron is fine because that's the story and what happened in the comic. But the fact remains that them making Ultron almost meant the death of everyone on the planet. They stopped him but innocents still died in that final battle. That was a major plot point in Civil War. Even Iron Man himself realised he is to blame for their dying. Scarlet Witch is responsible for killing an entire buildings worth of people. Iron Man built and sold weapons which killed people. Thor killed Frost Giants out of anger. Doctor Strange was a bit of dick. Ant-man was a felon. The Hulk has killed plenty of innocents. Black Widow and Hawkeye kill people for a living. Superman however is a genuinely good man who has saved billions, is shown to save people on a day to day basis and isn't responsible for putting people in harm's way.

Superman however is a genuinely good man who has saved billions, is shown to save people on a day to day basis and isn't responsible for putting people in harm's way. Cap doesn't need a montage to prove he saved millions of people. He stopped Red Skull's plane from killing millions of people. Seriously, you think a montage makes Superman more heroic? He also stopped Hydra's Helicarriers from offing a whole third of the Earth's population. We didn't need a montage to prove that, either. Thor saved the entire universe in Thor: The Dark World, which is a number beyond count. Oh, yeah, and The Avengers will be saving the entire universe again next year in Infinity War. No montage needed. Oh, yeah, and the Guardians have saved multiple planets in just two movies. Superman: trumped. No, Crossbones is responsible for killing an entire buildings worth of people. If anything, Scarlet Witch minimized the casualties because otherwise he'd have exploded right there in the street at the base of the building, quite possibly bringing the whole thing down and making the number much, much higher. Ooh, using characters' pasts against them. That's mature. Superman is a mopey dick who would rather not bother with saving people. If just buggering off and never bothering with them would make him stop glowering at everyone, he might as well just do it.

Who do you think it is (or will be)? Oh I have no clue, Zemeckis is their top choice, while not as youthful as I'd like a Flash director to be, but he's done a good job in the past with both comedy and drama. I'm just saying they probably have someone, and have had them for a few months, maybe it's all set and done or maybe it's still depending on JL's reception.

He's the most heroic of them all. It isn't just about an amount of lives. Superman is clearly heroic because he saves lives every single day, it's something he chooses to do because he wants to do it. We don't often get that from other heroes. We see them save lives when they're directly involved with what's going on like Iron Man saving the people on the plane but we don't just see him go around and save people in general because he's a superhero. Probably but nobody really had to die at all but they did because of Scarlet Witches inexperience. It was still partly her fault which is why the Civil War kicked off. And again like I said they put everyone in danger by creating Ultron, nobody had to die there either. Also because Tony Stark is naturally a bit of a dick and because he treated Killian like a piece of filth that in turn caused him to become a Supervillain which meant more innocent people died. Something that Clark Kent would never have done. Well yeah because that's all part of their character as well.

If not either of those guys, I would love to see Mission Impossible alums Brad Bird or Christopher McQuarrie do the job.

I hate MI4, but love MI5, Brad Bird... I think he's 2 for 4, his animated films are just great, but I've found his live action films lackluster.

Seriously, he should just quit. And you don't think Thor and the Guardians chose to save those lives? Quill obviously wanted to save Xandar and Thor obviously wanted to save the universe from the Dark Elves. You don't get to criticize Scarlet Witch's inexperience unless you're willing to do the same thing about Superman's inexperience in Man of Steel. Oh, no, instead Clark Kent just ruined another man's life by wrecking his semi and shoving it up into a tree because he was kind of a jerk.

Seriously, he should just quit. That's all baseless though. Police don't have a dopey smile on their face when saving lives. Spider-man wasn't enjoying himself when he was saving people from falling out of a building in Spider-man 3 either. That directly involved them though. They all save lives under those circumstances. Superman just goes out of his way to save people. Thor would save someone if saw they were in trouble but he's not shown to just go around looking for people who are in trouble. He wasn't directly responsible for their deaths though. Scarlet Witch was a part of an official superhero team and got people killed. Superman was just a guy with super powers who suddenly found himself having to fight to save his planet from powerful aliens. He was trying to save the planet not a few dozen people in a market. Which only cost the guy his truck. Which sorta served the guy right for being a dick to Clark and harassing a woman of which Clark stepped in to help. That's small potatoes. Tony Stark was a dick to Killian for no reason and he became a Super villain because of it and killed innocent people because of it. Innocents that would have still been alive had Tony Stark just been polite.

Is the flashpoint story exactly like it was done in the Flash season 3? Cause it wasn't exactly exciting.

Is the flashpoint story exactly like it was done in the Flash season 3? Cause it wasn't exactly exciting. *reads season 3 summary* Oh hoho, no it's insane. In the animated movie basically what happens is in the alternate timeline , Aquaman and Wonder Woman are at war with each other in a devastated Europe; Superman is an emaciated government lab rat; Cyborg is a tool of the U.S. government; Thomas Wayne is a gun toting Batman after Bruce is murdered while Martha becomes the Joker; a lot of Batman and Superman villains are somewhat more heroic.

Spider-man wasn't enjoying himself when he was saving people from falling out of a building in Spider-man 3 either. No, my claim is very based. Yeah, but police don't typically look like they're about to turn their own sidearms on themselves, either, after a job well done, like Superman looks like he wants to do. I've actually seen firemen at work and they weren't wearing depressed expressions. They were just focused and yes, a number of them smiled after the job was done and they were sure the people were okay. In fact, they had themselves a nice big dinner afterwards at a local diner and there was all manner of merriment. Spider-Man: that's funny, I recall him whooping with excitement while on the job in other scenes. What? Dark Elves ending the whole known universe involved Thor? You don't say! And the Guardians could have just turned tale and run as Rocket suggested they do. They CHOSE to go back. Thor goes around stopping Lovecraftian horrors from reemerging on a daily basis. If that isn't going around looking for people to save, I don't know what is. You are remembering his fight scenes incorrectly. No, Crossbones got people killed. Someone was going to die the instant he went suicide bomber. There was no stopping it at that point. The Avengers do it better. They actually saved civilians during the New York battle. And his job. And probably his home. Clark could have stopped the man without ruining the livelihood. Last time I checked, Killian was a legal adult and responsible for his own decisons. Innocents that would have still been alive had Killian just washed his hands of Tony and his petty grudge.

@weirdraptor
1. You're overreacting. Superman may not be happy go lucky but he's not some suicidal emo kid.
2. They chose to go back but the whole thing still revolved around them and they were involved in it at all. Them not running away means they aren't cowards but they don't just save people like it's a job.
Infact again Rocket stole those batteries from those Gold people which will in turn cause them to attempt to get revenge by creating Adam Warlock who may or may not be another threat to innocent lives.
3. Superman was never shown to cause the death of innocent people directly. He got into a dangerous fight with Zod where the resulting destruction from both got people killed but that couldn't be helped.
4. Scarlet Witch threw a bomb at people by accident but she she was directly involved in killing them. She could have could have thrown it up and in the opposite direction away from the building.
5. Men are losing their jobs right now in the real word for harassing women. Only fitting he lost his job for doing the same.
6. Killian was clearly not all there in the head to begin with. Tony Stark might not be responsible for Killian choosing to kill those people but it would never have happened at all if Tony Stark had just treated him with some respect. He didn't because he was always a bit of a smug jackass. Clark Kent would never have done the same thing.

He didn't because he was always a bit of a smug jackass. Clark Kent would never have done the same thing. 1. He could at least give some kind of indication that he's pleased people didn't die. That's how most people function when they've done something good for someone else, especially on the level of "this person still has a pulse because of me." Its like he takes nothing from the experiences apart from for fulfilling a grim duty. 2. They aren't cowards. If they were truly cowards, they wouldn't have gone back. They weren't expecting a reward when they went to stop Ronan from wiping out Xandar. Dear God, you really don't like the MCU. 3. Well, by your logic concerning Scarlet Witch, Supes didn't do out of his way to avoid civilian casualties. Therefore, he's directly responsible for their deaths. 4. Scarlet Witch minimized the casualties by doing that. People were going to die no matter what at that point. In fact, if Crossbones had detonated at the base of the building, it probably would have brought the whole thing down. 5. Last time I checked, that's for the courts and employers to decide. 6. And?

Is the flashpoint story exactly like it was done in the Flash season 3? Cause it wasn't exactly exciting. No, not even remotely, Flashpoint the comics and movie have almost nothing in common with Flashpoint in the TV show, there is literally 1 point of commonality between the two and that's that altering time has unforeseen consequences.
But in Flashpoint this extends far beyond the typical butterfly effect, changing an event in say 1989 changes the course of events set in motion in 1980, and on different planets as well, where as Flash the TV show it pretty much is unexplored ramifications due to typical butterfly effect shenanigans.
Oh the only other connection is the whole past memories being overwritten by the new timeline, there by requiring him to fix things before he remembers being The Flash to begin with, where Flashpoint is a world altering event in the comics and the film which brings the world to WW3, the TV version had stakes amounting to oh no Wally is going to die, Iris & Joe will be sad must fix this, that's the extent of the downside to the TV shows version of Flashpoint, hence why it was a fucking shambles.

Synopsis: The super-fast hero the Flash travels into a timeline where Earth is a mess and its heroes are lost and scattered. It's up to him to put things right.
Gal Gadot and Ray Fisher are already rumored to be in it too. I'd also like to see some other JL members.
And even with this synopsis I don't think that's its intended as a re-boot for the DCEU. I just think its going to be a time travel story.
Could be good. Thoughts? Sounds cool! Other than Days of Future Past, superhero movies haven't used time travel as a plot element much so this would be interesting. I hope they get Robert Zemeckis to direct this.
