I always jump between a 8 and 9 with this one but with the last rewatch it's a 9.

9/10.
My number 2 of all MCU movies. Nothing to say but its one of the best CBM's ever made. And I dont think that anyone sane will disagree with that statement.

9/10. Easily the MCU's best movie yet. Doing a 70s esque political thriller with CA was a genius idea.

A great movie, but there's two things I hate about it...
1) The hand held shaky cam. I fucking hate when directors use those. It's so amateurish. Get a god damn tripod!
2) The grey scale color grading. Not a huge deal, but the movie looks so murky, flat and devoid of color.

9.5/10. Easily in my top 5 CBM. After a rocky start with IM 3 and Thor 2 this film but things back on track. Great cast of Villains, especially Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce. It was good to see my favorite marvel character get his respect in this film, especially with that speech at the end.

9.5/10- Probably my favorite MCU movie, it has the right balance of seriousness and humor for my taste. Plus, some great action scenes. and Robert Redford. You can't go wrong with Robert Redford

Doesn't really feel like a superhero movie to me.
The most dramatic scene is the car attack but that could have been any action movie.
I expect certain things from a superhero movie like:
good guy in ridiculous costume
bad guy in ridiculous costume
scenes of good guy in ridiculous costume fighting bad guys in ridiculous costume
Not enough of that.
And the SJW gay moment with the computer guy in the library I could have done without. Too many of those superhero meets nerd moments in the MCU films.
The only one I thought was amusing was Thor 2 where he asks for directions on the subway from the English woman.

Proof that you are a troll. The Winter Soldier is arguably the greatest CBM ever made. It is an incredible movie. No sane person would ever argue this. Name one DCEU movie that is even close to this one. |
