As of this morning, you now officially step back and take in the idea that everybody is coming home. Anything Marvel you ever wanted to see is now possible and you know they're going to bring it.
Nowwwwwwwwwwwww it does have to be said that there is a possibility the government will try to hold this up, but one of the bright spots here is while the deal may create less competition in film, it actually creates more competition in online content distribution which as a wave of the future, is probably more important, but we'll see.
Additionally, for those concerned, Fox owns a portion of the Fantastic Four. There are conflicting reports as to whether those are distribution rights or part of the character rights, but either way, they'll have the stake in releasing the content for the FF, Surfer, Doom, etc. Constantine films will either work with Disney as they worked with Fox, or sell their portion of the rights, but there is absolutely no reason to think Constantine would go out completely on their own or hold up the franchise in any way. Those characters are coming to the MCU and there's no legitimate doubt about it.
This is amazing. I was stunned with they got the deal for Spidey, but THIS, is a whole world of opportunity just waiting to happen. Cheers to the next ten years of the MCU. It's going to be insane.

Goodbye creativity. And welcome into a world, where movies will only look the same. I haven't seen much creativity out of Fox anyway, so I'm fully of the belief that we'd end up with better films.

It's about damn time. I've hated not enjoying that series. When First Class first came out I thought the series might be doing something interesting, and then, not so much. I just haven't cared because they haven't gone anywhere with it.
I'm so happy to see what Marvel will do with these guys.

Yeah, this is all what your little incest freaks care about, right? But surprise, cbms aren't the only movies in the world. But you guys aren't real movies fans i know.

Well, this series has gone this way: From Wolverine and his X-Men to Wolverine Chronicles to Mystique and her X-Men. Sans Deadpool, the rest is not what I expected from the X-Men. They are a team where everyone has his/her own chance to show up, not a single mutant running the show.

Planet of the Apes and The Revenant are much better films than the whole MCU. But a nerd like could never understand this.

Goodbye creativity. And welcome into a world, where movies will only look the same. The only thing innovative Fox brought us was blood and sex in CBMs, and that's not enough.

Goodbye creativity. And welcome into a world, where movies will only look the same. Not a lot of creativity in Hollywood. How many films these days are remakes, sequels or adaptations of comic books or children's toys, regardless of the studio? WB/DC just made their version of an Avengers movie and most of Fox's CBMs were lousy. I will say their best output in my opinion (Logan, Deadpool, and First Class) never gets made under the Disney flag, so there is reason for concern there. But there are a ton of great comic book properties out there not owned by Marvel or DC that would make excellent films/shows. Studios can take a chance on those properties. If there is truly a cinema audience for that tone of comic book story, they'll find it. I'm not going to get upset at a company for wanting creative control of its own IP. And I'm not going to question why a studio investing hundreds of millions of dollars in a production is going to follow the playbook more often than not. Figure out what people want to see and give it to them. They'll make great movies or people will stop going to see them, and change will come when it's necessary. There are plenty of art house projects to enjoy every year, and as an adult moviegoer I don't expect a serious think piece from every popcorn action movie. I can get that elsewhere.

But a nerd like could never understand this. Leo didn't deserve an Oscar for Reverent, it was just because he'd been nominated several times and they took pity on him. The movie was just him wrestling a CGI Bear. As for Planet of the Apes, it's got its problems. Like how everyone was too stupid to realize that if the Apes spoke English they must be on Earth.

It should have the team dynamic more of guardians or avengers where everybody has a part to play, and there may be team leaders, but again, everybody has their moments.

Aside from Cable, Deadpool and Wolverine, the X-Men are just too boring. Not only in movie, in Comics too.

Well there's a middle ground here. I'm not going to call the MCU a deep think piece, but it's also not mindless popcorn. It's really well put together, organized, planned, thought out, character focused etc. There is genuine character progression and world building. Mindless popcorn would be something more like Batman Forever

It build the drama and human complexity into the story better than the other studios, that's why their movies are so good. But there are films whose sole focus have a deeper emotional tone and that's fine too. I just don't need superhero films trying so hard to be something they're not that what you end up with is unwatchable garbage.
