Im ambivalent towards this deal. Yes Marvel is more whole than it was and that is a good thing but Disney as a company might be too big for their own good. As I understand they will take 40% of the total box office now. They have no more competition and that cant be a good thing. Guys Im worried and happy at the same time. #teamcolden Disney has also been professional and world class. What's to worry about? Too much of anything in one hand is never a good thing. Competition brings challenge. Challenge brings creativity. Not that Disney is not creative now but with a lack of competition they may stop being like that. Also from a business point of view such a dominant factor on the market will make that prizes go up. No doubt about that. So I fear we will pay more for less in the end. #teamcolden

I'd mention Sony, but they've sucked for a while now.

You're probably going to end up with even better products.

Yeah, this is all what your little incest freaks care about, right? But surprise, cbms aren't the only movies in the world. But you guys aren't real movies fans i know. So your favorite movies are more important. Got it.

If Disney isn't making movies people want to see, someone else will. If prices get too high for something, people stop buying it and some other company shows up to capitalize on that opportunity.

Any way....happy day! The only downside is that Fox gets to screw up Dark Phoenix one more time before Marvel gets the rights back. The timing would have been perfect after Logan for Marvel to take over and rehab the franchise like they did with Spider-Man and Daredevil. But now Marvel will probably have to put off the X-men for a while (not a bad thing....they could use a break).
Probably best to go with FF properties like DR Doom, Galactus, and Silver Surfer at first and ease the FF into the overall story.
