No, it's the worst movie I have ever seen. Worse than the Ewok movie and I'm not exaggerating.

I liked it quite a bit. I am finding myself thinking about it more as it sinks in, and that's a good thing. A worthy installment that left me hungry for more. The grand "Soap Opera with Spaceships" is alive and well.
It's absolutely not the second coming of Empire though lol. Plenty of issues that are not nitpicks IMHO, and the mystery box count from TFA didn't get a whole lot filled in.

But they're way better than TLJ!!!!1 Rogue One thinks it's so badass, but the second Ewok movie murdered that little girl's family in the opening scene. Shit film, but I gotta respect its balls.

Plenty of issues that are not nitpicks IMHO, and the mystery box count from TFA didn't get a whole lot filled in. For someone who no longer expects to get a good Star Wars film, I loved TLJ as a filmgoing experience. If I wasn't laughing with it, I was laughing at it. I got to share some laughs and claps with the audience, which was a plus. I didn't feel the film's length because each scene was enjoyable, and they switched back and forth a lot. While it did answer most of my questions from TFA, I found them to be disappointing, illogical and pointless. They rehashed so much of ROTJ, I'm surprised Kylo Ren wasn't either redeemed or killed. Like TFA, TLJ isn't the sort of film that gets better when you think about it, lol. Enjoy it while you can. ;B

I watched them back to back with someone who hadn't seen either, and she was stunned when they just killed off the entire family (save the little girl) even though they'd spent an entire movie trying to rescue the parents and reunite them. She was like, "Are you fucking serious?!"
