TFA was the end of the Star Wars line for me so I can't comment on Rogue One. I would imagine it is a truly bad film though. It's the worst.

It wasn't the best but by no means the worst. I don't know which to puke over more - The Force Awakens or The Phantom Menace. These 2 had a few good scenes but that was it. Rogue never fully explored and utilized some of it's more interesting characters. Rogue One only had one good scene and that was at the very end involving the only good character: Darth Vader. TFA and TPM blew this movie away, champ. Sorry but there was just no way to stomach Jar Jar Binks in T.P.M. or Kylo Ren in T.F.A..

Haven't seen Rogue One yet, but nothing could be worse than the prequels. If those are your favourite Star Wars films, I pity you.

That stunning insight means a lot coming from a guy drooling over musclemen in bat tights who live in their mancaves together with teenage boys. Maybe you want to go home and rethink your life, Batty?

Well Rogue One was garbage but if you're as bright as the rest of the millennials and think there are 40 genders and everything is racist then you should love trash like Rogue One.

That's the general consensus among true Star Wars fans, right? ....General REAL fan base opinion of the movies... Maybe you can define what a "true Star Wars" fan is? I know many that consider themselves a true fan and don't share your opinions. And who/what is the REAL fanbase...and where does it say that is their opinion of the movies? Once you define it then maybe everyone can decide whether they are one and know whether to bother posting in your thread.

There will never be a worse Star Wars movie than The Phantom Menace. Not even if they deliberately tried to create one. Never. I remember the anticipation at the time, but as soon as those opening lines came across the screen, I knew it was going to be bad. And it was.
Rogue One has it's problems (CGI Princess Leia was a horrible sight to end the movie with), but that one scene with Vader at the end made it better than all the prequels combined.

Maybe you want to go home and rethink your life, Batty? Wow. Ignoring your complete ignorance regarding the great stories that have been told with Batman across various mediums, I have to ask: why should we take a guy drooling over a ridiculously dressed bounty hunter who does so little seriously? Or are you more of a Jango Fett kinda guy? While he does do a bit more, like the offspring that he's actually a complete ripoff of (with George only looking to cash in on Boba's popularity) he ultimately dies like a chump as a middle aged man proudly displaying his complete lack of skill with a sword awkwardly chops off his head. Then there's the fact that he fails at the one job he's hired for...

There will never be a worse Star Wars movie than The Phantom Menace. Rogue One says "hi". When the movie is so bad you admit there's only one good scene in it. Thanks for helping me prove my point!

Well it's as simple as this: if you like Rogue One you're a fake ass, phony Star Wars fan. Lame response and a bit of a cop out...but I'll go along with it. So basically if you liked Rogue One you are not a "true Star Wars fan"? Fair enough. May I suggest you post this whole thread on Star Wars sub-board. That should be full of true Star Wars fans right? And therefore they should share exactly the same views as you so you won't have to bother addressing anyone who doesn't agree with you - instead you can have a nice conversation about it. And if they do not agree with you, well you can use your self proclaimed status as a true Star wars fan to declare that they are not.

His argument will always be: it's bad because it's bad. Or FACT!
