That's the general consensus among true Star Wars fans, right? I mean the movie was terrible, I practically hated it. It was so boring and a fake Star Wars movie. General REAL fan base opinion of the movies:
Revenge of the Sith > Attack of the Clones > Return of the Jedi > The Empire Strikes Back > The Force Awakens > The Phantom Menace > A New Hope >> >>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Rogue One
Rogue One is a big mistake in the saga. Agree?

TFA by leaps and bounds, although Rogue One is far from a perfect film and is a basically unnecessary one. None of the Disney Wars movies has any inductive, organic reason to exist. The movies they've done and the movies they're making are all ostensibly and within the context of the narrative For the Sake of Making Yet Another Star Wars Movie. (And, therefore, money.)

No way. Although I thought Rogue One had several weaknesses (bland characters, weird dialogue, slow first 1st and 2nd act, plotholes), the last 1/3 of the movie in and of itself was more invigorating and entertaining than anything that happened in the prequel trilogy! Rogue One is definitely ahead of the prequel movies. But I still put it behind the OT and TFA.

TFA is by far the worst!!! How can it be the worst when it's way better than A New Hope and 10 times better than garbage Rogue One?

Agree? Nope. I've seen fans online praise Rogue One as one of the best Star Wars film ever made and even superior to the prequels. Not that I agree with them entirely. Rogue One had its weaknesses with blandly written characters and weak first half, but it's far from the worst Star Wars film ever. I think the 2008 film, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, is the worst film throughout the series (Saga and spin-off films) with its thin plot and poorly rendered characters and animation that looked bad back in 2008. It even makes The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones look like masterpieces.

Agree? I think your order is messed up. No way was any prequel better than Empire, which was probably better than Return. I think you've got New Hope in the right spot. Awful. Try having a script next time. And have you noticed, the more input from Lucas (writing/direction) a Star Wars movie has, the worse it is?

And have you noticed, the more input from Lucas (writing/direction) a Star Wars movie has, the worse it is? Not necessarily true. George Lucas technically co-wrote the screenplay of The Empire Strikes Back since the drafts he wrote alone became the basis for the film before Lawrence Kasdan came along to polish it. Leigh Brackett's screenplay was tossed out, but she was given an arbitrary credit because she died of cancer. The same thing occurred during writing of Return of the Jedi with Lucas writing an outline and draft before Kasdan and others made their contributions.

I'm not really trying to have a discussion about Star Wars. I'm an ugly, worthless, empty husk of a troll and my mother dresses me funny. Nobody at likes me, and I reek constantly of shit and piss and BO. FIFY. Looks like someone got butt hurt. ^

None of the Disney Wars movies has any inductive, organic reason to exist. Have you heard of this little green thing we like to call money? Have you heard of this little mental thing we like to call reading comprehension skills? Read the rest of my post before zipping off your pathetic attempt at wit next time, you imbecile: "TFA by leaps and bounds, although Rogue One is far from a perfect film and is a basically unnecessary one. My opinion: I don't think it's best nor worse. I consider most but not all SW films better than Rogue One. But I do think it's probably the most unnecessary Star Wars film to date.
