You just think are not any good. But i'm talking about current shows or from recent years though. Anytime between 2008 and 2017.

Oh dear. An absurd amount of stuff. I've tried hard to find quality but have been unable to these past few years.
The Good Doctor. The Punisher. Inhumans. Sons of Anarchy. Legion. The Mist. Stranger Things Downtown Abbey Person of Interest Twin Peaks (new one, I loved the old one) The Walking Dead (well I watched like 5-6 seasons before giving up) Supernatural (I watched like 10 seasons before giving up. lol.) Vikings (gave up after 3 seasons) The Flash (gave up after 2 seasons) Gotham (gave up after 1 season) Fargo (gave up after 1 season) Once Upon a Time (gave up after 6 seasons) Dexter (gave up after 4 seasons) Game of Thrones (gave up after 1.5 seasons)
There's more but I forget.
I want shows that are powerful and engaging morally, spiritually, philosophically, as well as characters that I can connect with, which is becoming more of a rarity.

I'm still struggling to finish Legion. I just watched one the other day. On paper, it sounds great, but it's not your daddy's Marvel comic adaptation, at all!

Inhumans Outlander American Gods Gotham American Horror Story Under the Dome Mr. Robot Minority Report (Though it got cancelled after three episodes anyway) Sons of Anarchy Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles
I watched the CW Superhero shows (Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow) but I don't anymore they're just awful.

After the prison stuff the writing becomes worse than that of a porno. S7 was abysmal and S8 is so far no better. It's really too bad because the comics still remain great.

Star Trek DS9 and Enterprise left me bored rigid. But I have a question; has any Stateside Sci fi fan, I mean a real committed fan, given Dr Who , classic or New Who, a go because it's the longest running Sci fi show in the world, and given up on it. It just wasn't for you. If so do you care? Do you feel you SHOULD like it and are missing out. Or is it just overrated ?

I tried to watch New Who and couldn't stick with it more than a couple of seasons. I just found it completely boring.

I do not have cable or satellite .. on the big 3 channels, I have tried new shows as they come out.
SO basically, the state of American Network TV is to blame for me being here so much.
I do like the people on The Middle even though it took me a couple of seasons to find them.
Tend to watch the re-run channels if I watch anything at all.

I know the fans gush over it (I'm one of them) but the big storyline doesn't start until around season 3. The first season is so bad I sometimes wonder how the show even made it. Enterprise has it's moments, but otherwise isn't good overall. To this day I still can't believe they bungled a Star Trek prequel so badly.
