Will the new Batman movies be better than MCU X-Men?

Actually it was pretty clever that Quill recognized that being part of an alien race like the Kree Ronan would be very easy to distract with such silly behavior because as Rocket explains earlier in the film they are by nature a very literal, no-nonsense group of people. This Drax illustrates many times in the course of the story. 

Ronan was also very power hungry and thought himself to be invincible, he let his ego get the better of him and it blew up right in his face( literally). It's not much different than how Jafar in Aladdin had gotten pretty much everything that he wanted towards the climax of the film ( He became sultan, became the most powerful sorcerer in the world, was invincible) but because of how power hungry and egotistical he was Aladdin used it to his advantage and told him that he'd be always second best to Genie ( Because without him none of it would be possible), so he wished to be a genie himself but he didn't consider that he'd have no free will anymore and be confined to a lamp. 

I think its obvious summers8 is either a troll or a young guy who discovered the Marvel universe a couple years ago thanks to the X-Men and Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies and only reads selective reading material( or reads it all on Wikipedia) tries to tell themselves that "authentic Marvel" is super serious and dark when the company has always been in the business of producing lighter and heavy fare in their entire history. In other words, a "fake" fan who might've been wowed by some rebellious person's comments years ago and is easily impressed. 

It was a distraction, you turd-blossom!  And the Baskin Robbins scene was suppose to be cringey.  He was suppose to be hating his life.  Not having a good time.  It was showing that his life is so low that he'd want to get back into crime.

People actually defending the Ronan dance distraction stunt. Deary me.

It just completely takes you out of the moment because its so unrealistic. The HISHE got it correct, Ronan in reality would have just grounded his staff and destroyed the planet when Quill started singing.

I think you making it too easy onyourself . People are complaining because this is badly written, silly and juvenile. People would not complain if the final confrontation was clever. The Dr Strange time warp boss confrontation was pretty ok and surprising even though a rip off of other Sci Fi shows and games.

Did you know that they even made fun about the Dance Off scene in the film Passengers when Chris Pratt suggested a Dance Off and Lawrence was rolling her eyes.
