Looks like the "Lord" vote is running away with it.

Looks like the "Lord" vote is running away with it. That’s what happens when you leave out the “none of the above” option for people who believe that none of these things are true. The question is designed to elicit positive responses only from Christian believers. I didn’t vote, and I suspect many atheists reading the thread did not either. But 12 voters is not a very good sample size regardless.

I was merely stating the obvious, Captain. Perhaps you should request the OP to add "Legend." i don't see why he wouldn't oblige.

How do you square all this with Jesus claims to be the 'Bread of life', that he was the very fulfilment of OT scripture, that he existed before the world began, that he was the only way to get to heaven, that he was without sin, that he and God the Father were one, that if you'd seen him you'd seen God and that if people obeyed his words they would never taste death? Claims don’t really need to be “squared away” unless they can be proven to be demonstrably true. How do you square away the claims of Muhammad? Or Joseph Smith? Probably the same way conservative Jews square away the claims of Jesus! They just choose not to believe it. David Blaine reportedly turned a $1 bill into a $100 bill, Chriss Angel has reportedly walked on water before, and my aunt’s doctor cured her of cancer! Any sufficiently advanced technology (or rare, not fully understood skill) is indistinguishable from magic. The difference is, in the era of science, we no longer accept supernatural claims at face value. Thousands of years ago people believed that the common cold and flu-like symptoms was the result of demon possessions! Today, when people get proper treatment for such ailments, we don’t say that the person who cured them drove out demons! We understand that it was actually a viral infection. I thought your entire post was based on the premise "assuming the gospels are accurate accounts taken at face value"?

I thought your entire post was based on the premise "assuming the gospels are accurate accounts taken at face value"? No, only the part about which of the only three options given was the “correct” one. Taken at face value, there were actually more options than what was listed. And of course by taken at face value I meant in the sense that what was written was in fact written, translated, and interpreted accurately (in accordance with the author’s actual intent). Assuming all of that is true, that doesn’t imply that we should assume that a guy ACTUALLY turned water into wine. Only that an actual apostle (who may or may not have witnessed it) actually WROTE that there were many witnesses to this supposed event. Just like every other claim of a “supernatural phenomenon” taking place, none of the claims made in the gospels can be validated as traditionally interpreted (nor could they possibly be). Suffice it to say, just because a guy wrote that an event occurred and was widely witnessed doesn’t mean that his writing is accurate. I’m pretty the White House press secretary reported that Trump’s inauguration was the most widely attended and most watched in the history of inaugurations. And there is video evidence validating that he actually said this, requiring no interpretation or assumptions about what he meant. So we can take that at face value! The claim was categorically disproved even though that remains the White House official position.

Muhammad also believed Jesus was a historical person who performed miracles BTW. Just sayin Walking on water, raising from the dead, healing the sick, casting out demons etc is kinda easier to falsify than someone allegedly having abnormal strength don't you think? And who are these enemies of Hercules and do any of them affirm as legit the powers associated with him? LOL "Muhammad also believed Jesus was a historical person who performed miracles BTW. Just sayin"
That says absolutely nothing about whether Jesus actually existed. Muhammed also believed Allah was the on true God, does that automatically make it true?
"Walking on water, raising from the dead, healing the sick, casting out demons etc is kinda easier to falsify than someone allegedly having abnormal strength don't you think?"
No.
"And who are these enemies of Hercules and do any of them affirm as legit the powers associated with him?"
A quick Google search would have answered that:
www.thoughtco.com/people-around-hercules-heracles-herakles-118960
"LOL"
So a non answer, gotcha.

So how do you personally interpret Jesus' words in John 14:6? “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." But that minority of people were given the task to take that message and share it to the whole world. Who is the father though? The Father is God.

The creator of heaven and earth. A separate supreme being? Separate to whom?

Let the bible answer that. What makes you think the answers of the bible are accurate? Because I believe they were inspired by God and God is infallible.
