Yeah. I hate the kid. LOL. It just feels like blatant pandering to the younger demographic. It's also cheesy AF. I also hate the tone. The whole movie has that 90s action movie kind of feel. It doesn't work for me. Disney films in a nutshell. Throw out the focus on mature PTSD themes and pander towards kiddie using a kid itself. You mean like Logan?

Should we tell him that Winter Soldier came out after Iron Man 3? Maybe you should pay attention and read my post again where I not only mentioned Winter Soldier by name but i stressed the word "generally " when talking about the Disneyfication of the MCU after IM3. According to you Disney took the MCU downhill after Avengers. But according to everyone else not wanting the X-men movies to be on top, it hasn't. It has only gotten better. And everyone else is trying to copy them. Everyone. Else.

I do mostly agree with your assessment of post phase one Marvel. They tried to increasingly emulate the Joss Whedon humor after the success of Avengers and they really missed the mark with most of their phase two movies.

Logan used the kid character properly, to aid with the plot and provide a mechanism to explore Logans deepest inner emotions. The kid in Stark was just for pure sympathy and pandering to the family friendly feel of the film.

According to you Disney took the MCU generally downhill after Avengers. Fixed. Fixed.

The kid in Stark was just for pure sympathy and pandering to the family friendly feel of the film. You for real? Is Ashton gonna slam my door down with a camera crew? Am I being Punk'd? Harley was there to point Stark in the right direction. He also helps Stark with his PTSD. So you are saying that he did not aid in the plot and explore Stark's psyche? He even had his own backstory, in the movie, that fleshed him out a little more. Then you have it that Stark saw himself in the kid... Almost like a clone... Wait... Hmm.

Just because one had more screen time means nothing. They served the same purpose. And rumor has it the character is returning in Avengers 4.

He didn't factor into his character arc at all! C'mon man, this is such a silly comparison. I feel like I'm arguing with ArArArArArch Shamton here.

I feel like I'm arguing with ArArArArArch Shamton here. Harley got him to get over his PTSD with their interactions. Tony saw someone like him when he was younger. The same way that Logan saw a wild child version of how he use to be. Both men saw how wrong they were currently and changed because of the little "angel" on their shoulder. The only difference is that Laura was there the entire movie. The problem is that you don't want to see the comparison. I'm not saying that one is better than the other. I'm just saying you are wrong in your reason to hate on something.
