If he ends up anywhere but the Cavs, probably a bunch of Clevelanders will hunt him down, haha. They're going to be like, "We went through all of this and you give us one stinkin' championship?!? One?!?!?!"

I said Lakers, only because I’m sure he wants to play in the west before he retires.

IMO - East is still weaker competition - i.e. no Warriors, Rockets, Spurs. He has 2 homes in L.A. - could always spend his offseasons out West and still dominate in the East.

If you would have shown me that scene without the title telling me what film it's from, I would have had absolutely no idea that I'd ever seen it before.

I like Unbreakable, the Village, and Signs at least as much as the Sixth Sense, and I like all of those a lot. I don't recall disliking the Happening . . . I just can't remember much about it. I think I liked it okay. The others that I've seen I didn't care for so much. Lady in the Water I thought was a mess. I remember it annoying me. After Earth was pretty disappointing to me, although I didn't hate it. The Visit I turned off 10-15 minutes into it because I hate that "found footage"/"the characters are filming this themselves" style. I have liked a few films done in that style despite that, but I still hate that style--I'd always prefer traditional cinematography (visual aesthetics are a big part of why I love film). Most films shot that way have annoyed me, and I wasn't at all in the mood for one of those when I tried the Visit. I haven't seen anything he's directed other than the above yet.

If you get a chance - take a look at 'Devil'. It's tremendous. Saw it in the theater. Own it. Love it. 7/10 beers. High rewatch value IMO. I greatly enjoyed 'Split' as well and loved the 'twist' at the end

Do people believe that he probably had a hand in directing it? (A la some films that Spielberg supposedly just produced but that he pretty clearly had a hand in directing, too?) I want to check out the ones I haven't seen yet, including "Wayward Pines", but I just haven't gotten to them yet.

I don't know. It looked to me like there were a couple little moments between Embiid and James last night where they were planning their future together.

Signs gets crapped on irrationally and it's a tense eerie flick. 7/10 Beers The Village is another guilty pleasure of mine. I think people were disappointed there was no actual 'Monster' - if you take two steps back and think about the actual twist - it's pretty genius IMO and one you never saw coming...... 6.5/10 beers

Why? City is a dump and he already brought his 'home' a title and they're filled with marginal players and no Superstars. He's getting 'older'. In a couple of years he can ride the coattails of Embiid/Simmons & Company and chalk up a couple of more rings and then secure his status as the greatest basketball player of All-Time replacing Jordan as he led 3 different cities to titles.

I'm a Lakers Fan and unfortunately, I don't think LeBron James is going to be joining them next season (Not as long as Lonzo Ball and his father's mouth & ego are part of the team, plus didn't LeBron James and Isiah Thomas not get along with each other in Cleveland ?). I honestly think that LeBron James will either Stay with Cleveland or go to Houston.
