I bought that debut Human League album not too long ago. Their early stuff is awfully cool, particularly "Being Boiled".

Sorry if my post is taking up to much space I think use of the spoiler function there was entirely unnecessary. The first three tracks in particular were inspired choices, I've not heard that TG track in ages, I never seem to listen to the studio albums anymore. And "Hiroshima Mon Amour" is just an all-time classic.

I think use of the spoiler function there was entirely unnecessary. The first three tracks in particular were inspired choices, I've not heard that TG track in ages, I never seem to listen to the studio albums anymore. And "Hiroshima Mon Amour" is just an all-time classic. Edited out the spoiler function. Never been a big fan of TG, but they did come up with some truly amazing and beautiful instrumentals which I never go tired of, their studio albums however is too much of a hit and miss. Hiroshima Mon Amour is a classic, and just one of many from the John Foxx Ultravox! lineup. Their 1977 release Ha!-Ha!-Ha! has always been a big favorite, one great number after another. Ultravox! - The Man Who Dies Every Day (1977) KajaGooGoo - Too Shy - Midnight Mix (1982) SSQ - Anonymous (1983) Art of Noise - Moments in Love - Quiet Storm Version (1983)

Here's one of the best. Poppy and bouncy as hell with one heck of a catchy chorus. And the catchy as hell chorus is just one word! Acceler-raaaaay-shuuuuu-uhhh-un. Accleration. Acceler-RAY-shun.
Chorus at 1:08

Fad Gadget were really interesting and very good. They (Frank Tovey) had a dark moodiness about them. "For Whom The Bell Tolls" was a very off-putting song. Really dug it. But this is their best work:

But this is their best work: I think that the Gag album is pretty much their best, it seems odd to me that they didn't go on to huge success with that sound. "Ad Nauseum" is probably my favourite track by them, even above the more famous "Collapsing New People".
