I'm also reading Antkind, though I'm not too confident that I will finish it. any good? I'm about 100 pages into it and it's off to a good start. It reads like other Charlie Kaufman movies with the humor and characters. Ask me again when I reach 200 pages should I get there.

"Smax" by Alan Moore. A spinoff from Top 10. Pretty funny take on fantasy. There's an elf that wants a green card and a sword singing Abba. The from reaper from Seventh Seal shows up, is named Lional.

Still reading "the other queen" by Philippa Gregory because I'm reading other things in between. One of them is this: Too bad I don't like books of short stories.... but I appreciate that this is full of the Somali/Ethiopian and Eritrean refugee and/or immigrant experience.

I'm also reading Antkind, though I'm not too confident that I will finish it. any good? Overall it was a very enjoyable and easy read. I was surprised at just how funny it was, especially in the first half. Very much Kaufman’s book, similar to his screenplays - absurd, paranoid and defiantly meta, but with so much more room to grow. Almost too much, it goes down so many rabbit holes you sort of lose track and by the end I was a little lost and overwhelmed, but it was a hell of a ride.

Listening to an audiobook for The Chapo Guide To Revolution by Chapo Trap House. It's amusing.
Also reading Lost Girls by Alan Moore. Turns out comic book porn of young fantasy characters written by a crochety senior citizen is more weird than sexy.

This author has received much acclaim as being a good writer of thrillers, so I'm giving this one a whirl.
