Poor Folk by Fyodor Dostoevsky
Its my least favorite Dostoevsky book, but i have decided to read all his books again. And i am reading them in the order he wrote them so i am starting with Poor Folk (sometimes translated to Poor people)

Endless Night by Richard Laymon. I've read all of Richard Laymon's novels, but every once in a while I'll re-read one of them. And this one's Laymon at his nastiest (in a good way, of course). I’ve read only one book by him, way back in 2002. I can’t remember its title but I think it was about some young kids who sneak into strangers’ houses at night for the thrill of it, or something like that.

It's about young guys (in their early 20s) who break into houses and kill the residents just for the thrill of it.

Billy Summers by Stephen King What did you think of it? I’m just finishing. Have to say it isn’t King’s best. Not a supernatural tale (other than the painting of the hedge animals) but neither was Mr. Mercedes. Okay but not a page turner I thought the first half started off good, then was a bit boring for a while. I thought the second half was very good.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood by Quentin Tarantino (he novelized his own movie) Christ, he can’t resist indulging in his foot fetish even with the bloody cover. There are multiple references in the prose to women's large, bare feet. The dude just can't help himself.

Just finished Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. Read it in under a week. Couldn’t put it down. Really quite great. Lots of movie differences too so it felt fresh.

I rarely read a book after seeing the movie, but I have read and enjoyed a lot of Crichton, and I did read and enjoy Congo after seeing the movie, so I have been thinking of giving this a shot.

It was a very easy read despite including a lot of scientific terminology. Short chapters too. Lots of great quotes from Malcolm in particular. I definitely recommend it.

Listening to Lolita as read by Jeremy Irons. Man, the book really goes all in. I haven't seen the movie in awhile, but I feel like they definitely scaled back the predatory nature of Humbert Humbert.
