A few docs ...

'Texting Tasha Biering ...' (2000, Documentary - James Canyon)
Film fan Jim Canyon attempts to send a phone text to actress Tasha Biering.
This is a fun skit. Tasha Biering is a delightful performer who had the bad luck to headline what may be the worst movie ever shot in the state of South Carolina, Jeff Miller's dire horror 'Head Cheerleader Dead Cheerleader' (2000). We've not seen hide nor hair of her since.
'Maggie Haberman ~ Electric Concert' (2018, Documentary - C.J. Kendricks)
A tribute to the work of investigative journalist Maggie Haberman.
Maggie Haberman is an exciting reporter for 'The New York Times' who currently works as White House Correspondent. Her stories in print and those posted online contain serious revelations about the Trump administration. You can also see Haberman on the news network CNN where she's a special contributor.
'R Kelly : Sex, Girls & Videotapes' (2018, Documentary - Joyce Trozzo)
An investigation into mass allegations of child abuse and sexual misconduct made against r & b superstar R Kelly over the last 25 years.
'R Kelly : Sex, Girls & Videotapes' is a troubling documentary about controversial pop king R Kelly who rose from humble beginnings in Chicago, Illinois to assume his current position at the top of the music industry. I don't like his music and would struggle to name a song by him other than that awful ballad 'I Believe I Can Fly'. It's alleged in this film that he runs a sex cult in his mansion that includes minors who are sworn to silence if they escape his clutches. He's obviously attained a position that demands responsible behaviour as a lot of young girls look up to him and buy his records. The authorities are currently investigating these claims (such accusations of abuse and misconduct have apparently dogged Kelly throughout his musical career).
'State Of America : Kate Bolduan’s Return' (2018, Documentary - C.J. Kendricks)
A celebration party to mark the timely return to work last week of CNN News Anchor Kate Bolduan who hosts 'State Of America' on weekdays.
President Donald Trump won't like it but news network CNN just got a whole lot stronger with the return of ace reporter Kate Bolduan. She's been on maternity leave having given birth to a baby girl (she now has two small daughters). Different members of the CNN roster have been filling in in her absence, and doing a fine job at that (most recently Paula Newton), but it's clear that regular guests were as delighted as viewers this week to see Bolduan back in the chair. Nobody fires off challenging questions and intellectual bullet points with the speed and skill possessed by this special talent from Goshen, Indiana. If you've not seen 'State Of America', be sure to check it out on CNN or you can tune into one of Kate's podcasts.
