And WW's magic lightning and magic gas is different...how? I do not seem to remember Wonder Woman having gas, would be an unhealty combination with lighning I guess. But she had a magic lasso and a magic boat.
Just like Cap had a magic plane, magic laser guns and a magic potion making him go BEEFCAKE!!! - and not to forget about the Magic Ice putting him and his Vader-clone-bro in ageless carbonite hybernation instead of killing them. Thus, getting both ready to rehash Star Wars in film 2.
MCU is totally unashamed of Star Wars plot beats, especially since Disney bought them both.

And Ike Perlmutter was an MCU executive so basically the powers that be at MCU decided they wanted to make movies with male lead characters only and didn't want to make any movie with a female lead character, until Wonder Woman showed that female-led superhero movies can make money. Wonder Woman is the reason that MCU announced a Captain Marvel movie. MCU would've never greenlit a Captain Marvel movie if WB hadn't announced a Wonder Woman movie first. I like how you say that one man was the one stopping female led movies at Marvel so that means all the people in charge was stopping it. You MCU fans don't seem to understand how corporations operate. If the company's CEO signs a contract and then the company's CEO is fired 1 month later, the company doesn't just get to cancel the contract just because they fired their CEO who signed the contract. The company is still on the hook for the terms of the contract because the CEO represents the company. Similarly, Ike Perlmutter as CEO of Marvel Studios represented Marvel Studios, which means that every decision Ike Perlmutter made as CEO of Marvel Studios is the same as Marvel Studios making the decision. So like I said, Marvel Studios made the decision to make male-led movies only and didn't want to make any female-led movies, until WB announced the Wonder Woman movie.how does a man being taken away from duties equate them not wanting to make one until Wonder Woman? MCU was in existence for at least 6 years before WB announced the Wonder Woman movie, but MCU never greenlit or announced a female-led movie, until AFTER WB announced the Wonder Woman movie. So it's obvious that MCU never had nay intention of making any female-led movie, until WB announced the Wonder Woman movie.

I'm not referring to the comics. I'm referring to the movies. Doesn't matter, she came first before those. So they're rip-offs of her story. So you admit that Thanos is a rip-off of Darkseid.

And the German General had magic gas to make him stronger. And Dr Poison was making more magic gas to fight with. Bucky predates Vader, and Vader owes his existence to Marvel anyways. Cap did it first, so Star Wars ripped off Marvel again. Adapt stuff from the Cap comics which Star Wars later ripped off.

So I came up to Marvel and [editor] Roy [Thomas] asked if I wanted to do an issue of Iron Man. I felt that this may be my only chance ever to do a character, not having the confidence that my career was going to last anything longer than a few weeks. So they got jammed into it. Thanos was a much thinner character and Roy suggested beefing him up, so he's beefed up quite a bit from his original sketches ... and later on I liked beefing him up so much that he continued to grow in size.

As opposed to Steppenwolf, who lost because he got scared.

Does the world really need a Black Widow Movie? Its like giving Vision or Hawkeye solo movies, there is no demand. Wouldn't you guys rather see an Elektra movie or Netflix series? Shes more intresting than BW You just don't want it because Kat Dennings doesn't play her. But if somebody suggested a Darcy solo flick you'd be the first in line.

One man made a decision that nobody agreed with and was overturned the moment he went away. When he went away they announced their plans to make a movie. That plan had nothing to do with Wonder Woman. If it did, they would have made that movie a long time ago. Funny enough, they didn't do a DC and make a snap decision. They actually thought it through and made the movie to coincide with the larger story they are working on. Namely the 4th Avengers movie in which she will appear in. Maybe even replacing Captain America as the leader of the Avengers. ![](http://i0.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/facebook/000/018/459/53697461.jpg) Again, one man in power stopping movies from being made. Once that man was no longer in power, the movie was green-lit. You are trying to go past the deciding factor in why the movie was green-lit. I mean I can keep repeating that Wonder Woman was just a gender swapped Captain America: First Avenger if you want (DC even copied the title for BvS: Dawn of Justice... #DCSucks). They had all the intention to make the movie because they announced it the very second Perlmutter was gone. They wasted no time at all.

Only AFTER WB announced the Wonder Woman movie first. Nope, DC never would've made a WW movie without the MCU paving the way for them. WB was already planning a Wonder Woman movie long before MCU. That's why they hired Joss Whedon to write a script for a Wonder Woman movie. But Whedon came up with up a crappy script, just like he came up with a crappy script for The Avengers. So WB decided it was better to not make the crappy movie that Joss Whedon wrote, which turned out to be 1 of the best decisions in CBM history since Patty Jenkins made a great Wonder Woman movie.

MCU announced the Captain Marvel movie 2 weeks later. The Wonder Woman movie was produced and released in June 2017. Do you think studios announce movies the day they came up with the idea? You don't think the idea of a Black Widow movie has been kicked around since she first appeared in Iron Man 2? And MCU decided against making a Black Widow movie or any other female-led movie They didn't decide against it, it was on the back burner - an inevitability irrespective of DCEU's actions. Why would Marvel want to copy DC ideas when the former's film franchise is so much more successful? Writer-artist Jim Starlin originally conceived of Thanos of Titan during college psychology classes. As Starlin described: I went to college between doing U.S. military service and getting work in comics, and there was a psych class and I came up with Thanos ... and Drax the Destroyer, but I'm not sure how he fit into it, just anger management probably.
