I looked it up on Wikipedia. I don't think it's that movie. But that one does look interesting, I think I will buy it from amazon.

Is there an R in "idea"?
Is there a K in "ridiculous"?
An A in the middle of "ambulance"?
Is there an H in "aunt"?
Is there only 1 R in "library"?
Should you pronounce the T in often?
If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions, congratulations on trying to mask your poor education. I say aunt as ant, not to rhyme with aren't.

Along that same line:
Apparently, we Canadians pronounce the word "about" as "aboot".
I didn't know this until South Park brought out Terrence and Phillip.
Say, Terrence, I was just aboot to make some Kraft Dinner.....
Now, to keep up appearances, I pronounce that word as "aboot".
At work, when a customer places an order via web, and I have to call them on it, I say who I am, then I say:
I was just aboot to put in the web order.
So far, no one has correct my pronounciation of that word. So, they must know what I'm talking aboot. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)
Joker's Wilde I say about out and lout to rhyme. I say route as root and sometimes as rout. How would you say Tottenham, Birmingham, Nottingham, Moscow, Glasgow, Buckingham? I remember an episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch in which Hilda did say oot and aboot. I think a joke due to her being Canadian? Beth Borderick's character Zelda didn't say it the same way. Many pronunciations in Britain differ as well as accents. I don't know how many American or British accents there are. Some accents in Britain can differ a lot.

Obviously Americans would pronounce these words differently than the British. I am American so, in the second line of your post, all words rhyme for me. In the third line, all words rhyme except the first. I do not understand the meaning of the fourth line but all the words rhyme for me. Fifth line, answer is yes. 6th line, all words rhyme. 7th, always with a distinct R. Line 8, hard to answer. Last line, the first and last words rhyme but not with the words in between. Well, I guess I had some extra time on my hands. I hope you found that enlightening. I say parse, parsley , parsnip and sparse without the letter r. I say those words as pass, passley, passnip and spass. Some words I say the letter r as the letter h. I don't say pasta with the letter r after the vowel a. I think some Americans do. I say garage as garidge. I say message as messidge. I don't say entourage and massage with the letter r after the vowel a.
Do you say Tottenham as Totnum or Tot-ten-ham?

@ Terrapin Station
Do you say look and luke to rhyme? Some do, some don't. If you say the two o's in look then it does rhyme with luke. Good food and hood should rhyme but I think for most they don't. I do say root boot loot and soot to rhyme but for me foot doesn't. I think some Scottish say foot to rhyme with loot root boot. Some people change the letter r to the letter h. I do that with some words.

I like Day of the Dove. One of the better episodes in my opinion. I have seen TOS many times. I have all 80 episodes on DVD. I like Voyager, Deep Space 9 and The Next Generation. Seen a little of TAS and Enterprise. I watched Star Trek 2009 recently but have yet to see the two that follow.

Sliders - season 2 episode Invasion year 1996. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - forget the season, maybe 5 to 7? Once more with Feeling. Star Trek The Original Series - that one with the space hippies singing annoying songs. I think at the end of the episode 2 were dead. One of them is bald I think. I think one of the ladies has the hots for Chekov. What about that episode with the horrible kids? Miri, I think. Season one. That's one the weakest ST TOS episodes. Also that other episode with kids whose parents were all killed and some middle aged male is trying to get them to do stuff. don't remember the episode title. The ray Bradbury Theatre - Tyrannosaurus Rex and there was an old woman, those two are the weakest episodes.

I pick They Live. But I like others on there such as Escape from New York, Starman and Big trouble in Little China. I like the Thing 1982 and also the prequel the Thing 2011. IIRC Kurt Russell was in BTILC and Escape from New York, other movies I like with him are Breakdown - 1997 - JT Walsh, Kathleen Quinlan, Jack Noseworthy, MC Gainey Overboard - with Goldie Hawn Tombstone - haven't seen that one for a while. Executive Decision - with Steven Seagal, John Leguizamo, Oliver Platt, David Suchet, Halle Berry, one actor I don't remember his name, he has a moustache and was in the Fugitive and one episode of Diagnosis Murder and Star Trek Voyager. Richard something?
Starman - If it's the one I am thinking of, that has Karen Allen and Jeff Bridges? I remember her in Indiana Jones 1 and 4. Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I like the Big Lebowski (Jeff Bridges) and he was in Arlington Road with Joan Cusack, Tim Robbins.

A film from maybe the 80s or 90s. I think it's a mixture of fantasy, sci fi, comedy horror, black comedy perhaps. I remember some people, I think kids, going to some parallel world or maybe hell. Not much more I can remember. I did think it could be Stay Tuned (1992) starring Pam Dawber and John Ritter but it isn't that movie. I've seen that one a few times and it isn't that one. I'm not sure what it is and I think when I watched it was around the mid to late 1990s. Anyone help me?

....and a few more artists: Magritte Picasso Kandinsky Wolf Khan And musicians: Joe Venuti Sugercane Harris Jean Luc-Ponty Cream Bix Beiderbecke I've heard of Cream. I like their album Disraeli Gears but I think that is the only I know by them. I should really look into trying all their music. I think I should also properly try Eric Clapton, Free, Rainbow, Toto and some others I only know a few songs by.

I use facebook and Deviant Art a lot. Also Wikipedia, Youtube and Amazon. Sometimes I use twitter, instagram, vimeo. I use google and yahoo a lot for various searches. Searching for movies, shows, games and music. I read all sorts on Wikipedia. I read about history, geography, accents and dialects, I look up movies, shows, games and music. I read about ancient civilisations, famous people such as musicians, actors, philosophers, doctors and others. I often look up albums and songs on Wikipedia and read album reviews on Amazon and Allmusic. I use Youtube for game play throughs and walk throughs, listening to music, and viewing films and shows.
On Youtube I have watched Seven Days, The Moomins, Airline UK, Airline USA, Airport UK, some other shows as well. Big Wolf on Campus is another. The film See no evil hear no evil starring Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor. I use this place, moviedb, moviechat and other forums and message boards. I use facepunch and Black Mesa.
I like the game Black Mesa, it's a remake of Half Life, available for free download. I have posted on those two sites. I did use TV Tome and Movie Tome during 2005 and TV Rage 2005-2016. I use IMDb on occasion.

The infinitely large [space, galaxies, the universe] or the infinitesimally small [atoms, sub-atomic particles] I have an interest In both equally. But I chose small to give it more votes.

I read less religious people tend to have fewer kids than the religious. So religion will increase a lot in the next 50 years. Someone such as myself, who isn't religious and doesn't have children.

I like L7 and Queen. Got any favourite songs by them?
Phil Collins - Face Value - mostly average IMO all his others are better, best is maybe Both Sides Daryl hall and John Oates - Change of Season, their weakest, average album, Marigold Sky 1997 is their 2nd weakest IMO. Daryl Hall - Sacred Songs - don't like it Genesis(without Peter Gabriel) - Abacab 1981 - mostly average to me. Mike and the Mechanics - their seventh album The Road 2011. All preceding albums are better IMO. Their 8th I haven't listened to yet.
