@ stefancrosscoe
I'll check out Thomas Dolby and XTC. I often listen to music on amazon and youtube and I frequently check my local music shops for CD's. If I can find anything by them I'll buy it. edit: checked my local CD shops. I got some CD's but nothing there by XTC and Thomas Dolby so I will check Amazon. I got Cd's by the Brand New Heavies, Britney Spears, Black Eyes Peas and a few others.

when I see other people of my age with kids. I also feel frustration and anger. I don't know how to exactly deal with this. What age are you? I don't have any kids. No desire for biological children, maybe I could adopt.

What do you do when, no matter how hard you try, you just can't get to seep? Personally, I listen to music. I always listen to music to help me sleep. Relaxing and quiet music. Daryl Hall, Norah Jones, Luther Vandross, Toni Braxton and others.

I have 17 of Daryl Hall and John Oates' studio albums. And a few best of albums. I think their best five studio albums are 1974 War Babies, 1976 Bigger than Both of Us, 1977 Beauty on a Back Street , 1979 X Static and 1984 Big Bam Boom. I also have three daryl Hall solo albums. His 1986 1993 and 2011 albums. I don't have Sacred Songs 1977/1980 or his 1996 album Can't Stop Dreaming. I think his 1986 album is his best solo album.

this isn't a thread for debate. Just tell everyone what you think and why if you want to. I am not religious. I'm not an atheist but I do think the universe could be atheistic, but maybe it isn't possible to know. Here some stuff that is maybe relevant, I have many thoughts about stuff. make of it what you will. I don't know I guess you can debate if you want to.
So I have an interest in religion, mythology, fairy tales, science, metaphysics, philosophy, psychiatry, psychology. I wonder if all religions are made up, human invention. even if there is one that is correct, how can I know which one? why believe any of them? I don't think it makes sense to believe something to be true when I don't know for sure that it is. is it possible to ever be absolutely sure? wouldn't there always be doubt?
I wonder if maybe some things can't be known, or maybe there will always be doubt. maybe genes and upbringing play a part in views and beliefs. maybe some believe what they do as they have been brought up to do so. if they hadn't been brought up to do so then they wouldn't believe that. I like to think If the universe had a beginning or not, if it will end or not. why or how anything exists? why isn't there nothing instead of something? why am I the way I am? why is anyone the way they are?
genes, upbringing, diet, environment? maybe the universe is a one time thing, before this one and after this one there wasn't one and won't be one. it came from nothing and will go to nothing. can energy and matter be created or destroyed? could the universe have come from nothing? maybe it didn't begin and won't end. or maybe there was one or more before this one and there will be one or more after this one?
maybe more than one exists at the same time. if the universe has a creator who created the creator? do the exist without one? why couldn't the universe exist without a creator? maybe it doesn't need someone or something to create it, to make it work, function. maybe the universe is atheistic?
I read about atheism, agnosticism, deism, theism, mono and polytheism, pantheism. free will, determinism, fate, destiny, that sort of thing. I have an interest in the paranormal, supernatural. ghosts, werewolves, zombies, that sort of thing. could be all human invention. maybe there is nothing after death? maybe heaven and hell are made up. the idea of a soul or spirit could be an invention.
maybe the brain gives us sentience, self awareness and consciousness. when the brain is dead the person is dead, gone forever. could be an after life is impossible. I have read about nihilism and skepticism as well. Could it be life has no meaning and no reason, that death is the end, we are an anmal with an over developed brain? the human species like all others we had the same beginning and will have the same end. evolution/speciation and extinction.
I have more thoughts on this and other topics. anyone think about this?
what about the idea of soul mates? do you believe that? the idea two people are meant to be together.

Watching TV.... I've seen it again. Showing a guy on the toilet doing his business.. but, when the guy goes to wipe... He goes through the front, reaching between his open legs. ![](https://s26.postimg.org/xxn5mvzx5/hairrise.gif) Do people really wipe that way? ![](https://s26.postimg.org/gf93ycxax/giveup.gif) I reach behind... I assumed that's how everybody does it. ![](https://s26.postimg.org/kjoykz995/poo.gif) I'll admit reading that thread title cracked me up.
