Less or more... but she was put in suspended animation as child for years, and awoke as a woman. That's weird and interesting. Didn't they retcon that origin out in favor of her pregnant mom getting hit by a laser that had spider DNA in it? She is then brainwashed and trained by HYDRA. Then you add in the SHIELD element and you have the Captain Marvel movie. Yes, but the retcon was later "debunked"? They could introduce the High Evolutionary with the original origin story.

Again, I'm glad to see so much love for "First Class". It was a groundbreaking superhero movie. it didn't really break any new grounds, it just did what others had done and did so in a great fashion imo. Well, technically speaking, it mixed up superhero genre with spy-story, some time before "The Winter Soldier". Also, the sixties setting was fascinating and something "new" for a superhero movie (so I believe) --- that same year, 2011, we had "The First Avenger" which was set in the forties as "Rocketeer", "Dick Tracy" and "The Shadow". That's my opinion. Terrific movie anyway.

She's the most fascinating and mysterious, and one of the most powerful iconic badasses in the Marvel universe 616. Her original costume is just the BEST. Actually, we need a Spider-Woman solo movie featuring the right actress and a convincing adaptation of the original costume, not the crappy suit they gave her in the last few years. Spider-Woman is even more interesting than Spider-Man, her powers are greater and her personality is far more complex to explore. Who agrees? If they did her origin like the comics, it'd almost be a remake of Captain Marvel. Less or more... but she was put in suspended animation as child for years, and awoke as a woman. That's an interesting perspective. Actually, I liked the Guy Pierce character more... it was the movie that didn't work at all. Perspective? Watch them again. Hammer and Killian are pretty much trying to be Stark. Killian being the charismatic side. Obediah is Stark if he stayed on the path he was going. Obediah actually stopped that by having him captured. Hell, even Whiplash is a version of Stark. I agree. Killian was the best out of the three.

Strong disagree, but to each their own. I like the ideas about a fall from grace plot with Stark if that were the main focus. We don’t really explore much into it though. Also they kind of waste Whiplash in favour of another businessman villain after Obidiah (albeit one played by Sam Rockwell in a fun way). However in spite of being my least favourite, the movie isn’t really that bad and there is enjoyment to be had. Some of the action is fine, the acting is really good, and I like the scene where Tony watches Howard’s video recording. Also, it introduced us to ScarJo as BW. Can’t go wrong with that. All 3 main Iron Man villains were "what if" versions of Stark. That's an interesting perspective. Actually, I liked the Guy Pierce character more... it was the movie that didn't work at all.

IMHO, she's not handsome or beautiful like Charlize Theron. She's very pretty anyway. Fact is, the real Black Widow from comic books is slim, athletic, elegant, with a "fascinating" and "turbid" facial beauty. That's my personal view. I don't think that Scarlet truly fits into the role, but that's me. Personal opinion. I would have liked Charlize Theron, but ultimately it comes down to chemistry between the cast. If it isn't there, it won't work. No, wait, I wasn't saying that Charlize would fit the role. She doesn't look or FEEL like the Black Widow at all. I was only talking about her in terms of beauty. Again, the comic book Black Widow is almost a female counterpart to the comic book Matt Murdock. It's not only about the red hair, of course, but also the facial features. The Black Widow looks like a "dark lady".

Actually, I forgot to mention that this is the only movie where Scarlet more resembles the comic book Black Widow, at least in terms of hairstyle and costume. I never noticed that. Good call. That said, I don’t mind her looks in the other movies. I mean, how can I? ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) IMHO, she's not handsome or beautiful like Charlize Theron. I thought this video was pretty cool. Being serious now: Thanos was right from many perspectives. I would have liked if they showed more about his origin story and personal tragedy.

My list:
1- X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) - brilliant sci-fi movie 2- X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) - epic superhero movie, the most X-Men-ish so far 3- X2: X-Men United (2003) 4- X-Men: First Class (2011) 5- Dark Phoenix (2019) - second half could have been much better, overall great 6- X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) - brilliant superhero movie, very bleak 7- Logan (2017) 8- The Wolverine (2013) 9- X-Men (2000) - a modern classic which paved the way to today's standards of superhero genre 10- Deadpool 2 (2018) 11- X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) - fun and entertaining 12- Deadpool (2016) - still a great movie

So the upcoming "LOKI" series confirms that one "split" timeline still exists. Of course.
Wondering if they will explain the mechanics and dynamics of the "Endgame Model" of time travel better.

Just that.
I loved the story-arc, it was excellent. Stark's "newfound" popularity as Iron Man, his "underground" fall from grace, the creation of the new element. It was an astonishing movie.
The action scenes were terrific, especially the aerial chase and the final fight.
Robert was at the top of his game, and the movie truly captured the spirit of the Iron Man comic book in a superb way.
IRON MAN 2 had heart, soul, wonderful production, great screenplay, convincing acting and it felt like a complete superhero movie.

THE X-MEN LIVE ACTION FRANCHISE is a multiuniverse. Deadpool, Logan, Legion, The Gifted and so on...
Despite having its timeline partially "overwritten" (from 1973 onward), the mainstream universe has ONE timeline. Being overwritten, yes, but it's one timeline belonging to one universe. This means that the timeline did not split into two timelines, like it frequently happens in the MARVEL comic books.
What are you talking about is a scenario that JAMES CAMERON conceived and that Simon Kinberg and Bryan Singer used for DOFP. Past and future TEMPORARILY run on parallel tracks, despite being BOTH part of the VERY SAME SINGLE TIMELINE. The "rearranging" of the timeline only occurs when 2023 Wolverine's consciousness comes back into his own 2023 body.
As you should already know, in the comic books, the DAYS OF FUTURE PAST future revealed itself to be an alternate world, so Rachel Summers/Phoenix (later codenamed Marvel Girl 2 or Prestige) comes from another dimension, not the mainstream future of the 616 Marvel Universe.
On the other hand, the AGE OF APOCALYPSE event created a new timeline, that still exists today.
THAT SAID, there is no "new timeline" featuring the original events (X-Men Origins, X1, X2, The Last Stand, The Wolverine) and running parallel to the ALTERED Mainstream Timeline (DOFP, Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix). It's not like comic books.
