That's it. You're 100% right.
Cynthia recorded MANY audio tracks, as well as video specials/inserts, for the blu-ray releases. I will make a list of them, for sure.
That's great to hear, thanks. I don't recall hearing her on a dvd commentary track as of yet, but that's probably because I rushed to buy her movies on budget releases when I got my first dvd player. Now I'm keen to hear her thoughts on some of these productions, especially if a pricey upgrade promises a first-rate transfer to boot.
I just chose to ignore the troll named "Mulder and Scully". Trolls are gonna troll, you know. I will make the list within hours.

Great profile. Her fight scenes were marvellous and amazing, performed 100% by herself (she accomplished SEVEN black belts in real life). And her flicks were definitely entertaining, fun and well done, despite being low budgeted b-movies. That's it.
"Rothrock was World Champion in forms and weapons five times between 1981 and 1985.[2] These categories are not combat-oriented, being displays of fluidity of movement rather than fighting, and are not segregated into male and female categories but fully open to both sexes.[3][4]
She took first place in forms 32 times and first place in weapons 12 times in her first 38 tournaments, including competing in "Men's Forms" three out of four times as there was no Women's Division. She was "Grand Master" of five tournaments and came in first place in 4 out of 5 fighting events.[5]
She holds seven black belts and sashes in multiple Far Eastern martial disciplines, including Tang Soo Do, Taekwondo (Korean), Eagle Claw (Chinese), Wushu, Northern Shaolin, Ng Ying Kungfu (Chinese: 五形功夫), and Pai Lum White Dragon Kung Fu.[6][7] She received her 6th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan in 2006. She was tested by Grand Master Robert Kovaleski, 9th Dan and chair of the I.T.M.A., and was later promoted by him to 7th degree black belt in 2011 and 8th degree black belt in 2015.[8] She is a martial arts instructor and her favorite weapons are the hook swords.[9]"
In all seriousness, it made my day to see you sharing news here at Film General about new blu-ray releases of her movies which have had a chequered past in terms of restoration and redistribution. I'm particularly interested myself in any commentary tracks recorded as she's had a storied career I'm always keen to learn more of.
Personally speaking, I can't think of a single person I admire in low budget action cinema who doesn't speak highly of Rothrock, be it her achievements, her influence, her helpful nature, or all that she brings to the table. Absolute legend (and I don't use the word lightly).
That's it. You're 100% right.

Totally false. All Hong Kong martial movies are a bit sped up, not just Rothrock's. She did few Hong Kong movies anyway, then moved to hybrid/American productions. That said, she was 100% astonishing as martialist, and only used doubles for (VERY FEW) dangerous action sequences where fight wasn't involved at all. Her fight sequences were amazing. All of them, no matter the movie.
Probably you're jealous because you dreamed to be a female action star. Okay, man, okay.
Lol I hit a nerve. She just sucks.
LMAO you're obviously a jealous psycho. Oh man, I know, you feel frustrated and depressed in your life. We don't hate you anyway. Actually, we wish you to overcome your inner demons. Good luck.

Nice, thanks for the news! I doubt I'll upgrade any titles any time soon as I have pretty much all my Cynthia Rothrock favourites on dvd already. But I'll look out for the ones I've been looking for, for sure!
That's great, man!

We don't care. We just happen to love her and her movies. Besides, she was a cult actor and a star, not big, but a star nonetheless.
In China/Hong Kong, she was famous and popular.
I've seen some of her fight scenes and they're awful. Not only are they sped up like all Hong Kong action films are, she's hilariously doubled. You can clearly see she's not performing most of the moves. Not wonder she never became a star.

"...Time for Kevin to revive the Fox X-Men, people love them."
Well, for now, they already used Quicksilver and Xavier, Wolverine coming next. They know that Fox X-Men are considered as great (and serious) versions of superheroes, of course.

Fat Thor was funny and he was only fat for a short while. I guess fat is a serious issue for some people.
No problems with being fat. I have problems with turning THOR into a parody since the very first solo movie.

Time for Kevin to revive the Fox X-Men, people love them. They were grown up and bleak superheroes.
We don't need jokes, corny one-liners, funny bidimensional sidekicks, censored blood, fat Thors and race/gender swapped superheroes anymore.
Female Black Panther? WTF? Oh God. Give me a break.
Okay. Reboot everything.

Was this meant to come out after Logan? Kind of weird that they’d have Hugh Jackman in the movie if that’s the case. Side note, but this thread isn’t really off-topic. This is a general Marvel board at this point.
No, late Eighties, before the events of Dark Phoenix.
If you're talking about the real world, I think that it should have been released before Logan.

I've read the script. It's terrific. This could have been the "classic" Wolverine movie we always wanted.
About the CONTINUITY:
It's obviously set in the late 1980s (I say 1989), before Dark Phoenix. Raven is alive, Jubilee is a little girl. Wolverine doesn't join the X-Men at the very end, and that's consistent with Dark Phoenix. We can imagine that Quicksilver was elsewhere for undisclosed reasons. I loved that Xavier mentioned the 1973 events and the time travel.
That's truly great.

It would had followed the Nicholas Hoult version:
In it, we find Nicholas Hoult's Hank McCoy/Beast struggling to control his mutation before heading to an Inuit village in an effort to help an old friend. The movie soon shows the hero battling hunters alongside the Wendigo, and often veers into R-Rated horror territory before shaking things up by bringing Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine (again).
With a 1990s/early 2000s setting, Beast encounters Wolverine fighting in the same cage from the first X-Men movie. In this new timeline, Hank encounters him before Rogue does, and the two team up in the final act. There are cameos galore, including from Mystique and Jean Grey, while the movie ends with the introduction of Mr. Sinister. He was set to be the entire franchise's new bad, with early plans calling for Jon Hamm to play the villain across multiple movies (such as The New Mutants).
Beautiful. And it would also explain why he turned into the Ape Form of The Last Stand/ending of DOFP.

So here we go, this is another "preview" of the album, set to be released in 2023. It's a lip sync performance on an Italian TV program. There will be a second official videoclip within months.

Would Skynet achieve victory by not doing anything? Kyle Reese is only sent back to 1984 because Arnie was already sent to kill Sarah. Reese not going back would mean John wouldn’t be born. Here’s the paradox, people - the Terminator’s destruction is needed because the damaged CPU and arm lead to the creation of Skynet. Terminator 2 is a bad "afterthought". Its time travel rules are 100% wrong.
In Terminator 1, it's a fixed timeline. You cannot alter the past. Kyle and T-800 had always been part of the past the way you see on the movie. Skynet didn't know that it was a fixed timeline, Skynet thought that it could change the past.
There is no "original" 1984. The 1984 you see on screen is the one and only 1984. Ever.
