I honestly don't pay attention to movie budget's at all. So I really had no idea if $250 was a lot or not. Not something I keep up to date with. $100 just surprised me as low. I do keep track of movie budget's and the business side and the 100m surprised the frig out of me. It didn’t surprise me at all. How do you cash in on the hottest brand name in cinematic superheroics today? Make sure you spend next to nothing pimping out their IP. This way, if it comes out like hammered shit you lose virtually nothing in the effort. You might even get a tax write off. Venom is Sony playing the Marvel lP lottery. The next ticket they purchase will be for Morbius and that will have an even lower budget guaranteed.

Payroll and Cgi alone is going to eat up a lot of that 100m I would think.

Compares it to Sam Raimi... This review is probably more inventive than the movie. Has she ever considered voicework as Bullwinkle? She could pull it off. Her shtick (it can't be her legitimate speaking voice) has this odd peaks and valleys effect, and I have to say the low points are very Bullwinkle-esque. "But I've got a Venom review to do," is pure Bullwinkle.

exactly, glad many are not buying into all the negativity for the film. this dumb folks thinks people care about what critics think any more after mcu movies and last jedi and all the rumours and even proof of Disney influence.
the fact that it is getting so called bad reviews is intriguing.

Explain how Wrinkle In Time, John Carter, Alice Through The Looking Glass, The Pirates of the Caribbean sequels, The Lone Ranger, etc. all got bad reviews.

Also, if we go by this logic, why did at least one high-ranking Disney official had to resign due to the failure of ‘John Carter’?

Or maybe the movie is receiving negativity because it just isn't that good of a product and, food for thought, the movie most people are really talking about is the new version of A Star Is Born which is *not* a Disney production. But let me guess, Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga are secret Disney agents?

But then again, summers8’s behavior resembles that of a Flat Earther, so what do I know about what he’ll say next.

Distracts the villain so other team members can attack? Yeah, distraction is such a stupid plan Distractions are not per se stupid, merh. Distraction of the main villain by dance off (!) is a stupid plan. Dumb as an infinity stone.
This is why this scene will live on in infamy. Even Pratt made fun of it in Passengers.
Not getting why it is stupid just makes you MCUs look dumb.
The plan worked, so it wasn't so stupid after all. It only lives in infamy in the eyes of you, DC-Fan, charzino, thenewnexus, and summer8 but anywhere else nobody cares and is still able to enjoy the movie.

My point is that this particular claim serves as a bad news for DCEU since that’s also from Warner Brothers.

The little monsters are at it again. Hee hee hee... I'll just never understand how anybody can care so insanely deeply about something/someone to take there time to do things like this. I've literally never cared about something as much as obsessed fandoms do.

I'm just glad I'm not a Star Wars fan because the shit I've heard about a group of them is just toxic.
