Hauntedknight87thenolan said; Those saying Endgame is not a time travel film because the concept is so poorly done are just acting childish. Fitting for the movie's core audience if you ask me. This is not for the Interstellar minds. That's an attack on a fandom and a violation of the rules of this board.

Shall we move thenolan into the fucking moron column? ... now that dcfan has fled the scene. I googled it , it came up. For a movie you guys are saying its not a time travel film. time travel is the most controversial and talked about part of the film.
I already told Dazz, stop with the stupid name calling. It's only hurting the MCU ability to write a good film.
Then you can provide the URL of your Google search. When I Google "time travel movies" not only does Endgame not come up first, it doesn't come up at all! It's a pretty weak argument when your own criteria fails your argument. ... and I didn't call you a name. The name of the column is fucking moron. You just happen to be an occupant.

I guess technically it is. But I've looked at it as a comic book movie. Same with Days of Future past. Like Star Trek movies, Interstellar , The Time Machine.
They are time travel movies but science fiction adventures.
Movies can have different genres.
There is a difference between a time travel movie and a movie that has time travel in it. Star Trek '09 is not a time travel movie, it has it in it. Voyage Home is a time travel movie. Same with First Contact.

But none of those have silly costume super heroes fighting CGI armies like they do in Endgame and DOFP. And their source material is a comic book. They're comic book movies. DOFP and Endgame are time travel comic book films as much as Star Trek and Interstellar are time travel space science fiction movies compared to The Time Machine that is not a space science time travel film.
DOFP Endgame Surprise of all Surprises. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice makes the list too. Apparently that one cameo of flash going back in time to warn Bruce about something I cannot remember was enough for the movie to be considered a time travel movie.
Those saying Endgame is not a time travel film because the concept is so poorly done are just acting childish. Fitting for the movie's core audience if you ask me. This is not for the Interstellar minds.
It says "Time travel in films". Nobody said it didn't have time travel in the movie. It's like pulling up a list of movies with cars in them and saying they are racing movies.

My insults are not stupid, they are highly creative and descriptive you puss mulling rectal shunt, you are just too stupid to appreciate them is all, also how in the fuck is our fav pastime of mocking you for being a brain damaged spider monkey high on glue humping a light socket hurting the MCU's ability to write a good film, I mean you have said some idiotic things recently but this is beyond special, what's next Daisy Ridley needs to stop tying her hair up because every time she does she causes the Dali Lama to become constipated?

No shit Sherlock, obviously a time travel movie is a science fiction movie, TIME TRAVEL IS SCIENCE FUCKING FICTION!!! Do you not get what Science Fiction actually means or something?
But there is a difference to a film having a sci-fi trope in it and it being a specific genre of film, personally I would say Endgame is a time travel movie as it's a core part of the movie, same as I would claim Star Trek 2009 is one also, time travel is a driving force in the movie hence it's a time travel movie, but like I wouldn't call Jumanji a time travel movie despite it being used at the end of both movies, Endgame uses time travel enough though to count imo is all I will say though.
But anyway who cares? what was the point of this thread anyway?
