Look forward to hearing your review! It's very smooth. I'm no expert, but taste-wise I would say ripe blackberries and dark chocolatey. Very full bodied, probably not for folk who prefer a 'lighter' wine, if you get what i mean? I like it, it's smooth drinking, not sharp like an orrible Shiraz or cabernet thing. PS... Bear in mind I have a cold, so my taste buds might be a bit askew innit.

It was £5.35, minus a 75p Co-op members discount that week, so £4.60

Plus there's always an aggressive beggar camped outside their entrance so I largely avoid them. Most of their stuff is overpriced anyway.

Give to the beggar. If you have nothing in your pocket, or even if you do, give them a smile, ask how they are.

Lowest amount they could sell that for in Scotland would be 14*0.5*0.75 = £5.25.

I'm a blue card holder 👍 As well as my weekly product discounts, I have over 60 squid on my card to spend as I like, and my charity donations go to a wildlife trust 🙋♀️ Plus, being a member I get to vote on ethical issues they take.

If you like good white and can afford to spend a few shillings on a bottle try Sancerre. Tesco and M&S will charge you Approx £14 per bottle but you can go as high as £30 for some.
