Not knowing what 'DBOTY' is, or what 'woke' means. Lol, "DBOTY" is douchebag of the year. "Woke" is a term that started out as a compliment, acknowledging that someone possessed next-level awareness of current day socio-cultural blah blah blah, but it's quickly turned to often pejorative usage, deriding aforementioned concept. “Woke” managed to annoy me the very first time I read it but it’s still used by both sides of the spectrum.

Yes. I was careful to use "often" rather than "mostly". But just between us normies, it's awful.

every time at the end of a year where they name the most popular top 10 songs or so.
I honestly don't know 99.9% of any of those people.

Standing up and bending over. That could be a sign of A-fib.

Just the other day I went to the movies and the cashier asked if the ticket I wanted was a regular ticket. I didn't understand immediately what she meant by that, and then it dawned on me: she was asking if I wanted the Senior discount! I am more than ten years away from qualifying for the Senior discount!
I have to say that it hurt...

Being able to remember when being rude was not the norm and when civility was encouraged rather than being seen as a sign of weakness.

Standing up and bending over. That could be a sign of A-fib. I've always been a bit stiff but both my parents had heart trouble (fatal heart attack for dad and heart failure for mum).

Pictures of myself from 10+ years ago. Also, it occurred to me that I have no interest in watching comedies anymore.

Hearing a song from when I had graduated University - only to make me go:
Uh....dude....that song is now over 20 years old.
As well:
Hearing a song from when I was in my last year of high school - only to make me go:
Uh....dude....that song is 25 years old.

I love Bix Beiderbeck's and Django Reinhart's music, I carry an analog pocket watch, and have never owned or used a cell phone. Getting old is wonderful!

Even comedies I used to love, I have no desire to watch again. Currently watching Mandalorian, Riverdale, Nancy Drew, and Legacies. Last movies watched were Black Christmas 74, Black Christmas 06, Black Christmas 19, and A Christmas Horror Story.

I like to participate in the "Baker's Dozen" threads, on the Trivia and Games Board. Song Titles is a popular thread, and often the first songs to pop to my mind are hits that were made popular by artists like Patti Page, or Nat "King" Cole.

Finding yourself wanting to physically slap someone who spews mindless repetitive rants that ultimately serve no purpose other than to antagonize and then reminding yourself … it's the internet... it's not real .. it's just pretend .. no one in real life could possible be that dense, self centered and so totally devoid of self awareness.

One more thing: when a character in a movie or TV mentions something (a crime for example) that happened let's say 30 years ago. My initial reaction, without stopping to think about it, is to assume that he's talking about the 60s - but no, it's the 80s! "A long time ago" no longer means "before I was born", it now means "when I was at university"!
