A thread we get going every year at the final four stage. Last year's edition was great because it featured movieliker arguing that hurricanes in New Orleans are no big deal, and are in fact less bothersome than snowstorms on the East Coast. So, which is the best city as far as stuff to do, things to see, food, attractions, weather, people, any other reasons.

Green Bay literally only has the Packers, so not there.
Never been to Kansas City, but much like Cleveland, I never hear anyone say they're going on vacation there.
San Francisco apparently has a ton of homeless people walking around, and absurdly overpriced houses/apartments, so looks like the winner's Nashville, with their music scene and what not.
And not the same sport, but fuck the Predators and their insecure management barring fans of opposing teams from entering the building.

The only reason a person would go to Kansas City is to get some BBQ. Green Bay is just some small town up in the arctic circle. All's up there are the Packers. Nashville has the music scene. San Fran has all the cool historical sites, attractions, and the nice weather.
San Fran would be the best one to visit, with Nashville in second, KC in third, and Green Bay fourth.

Having never really spent time at either place I hear Nashville is great in terms of food, bars, music. It's a popular destination for bachelor/bachelorette parties. I'm sure San Fran is great too though.

I liked Nashville. Despite 22 years in the Bay Area and working in SF 2 years, I was more interested in the areas outside SF than the city itself. No feelings about the other two.

It's easy to poke fun at San Francisco these days, but it became as popular a destination as it did for a reason. It's a great city with great culture and landmarks. And yes, homeless people, and yes douche bags. But nonetheless, it's a great town that most people can't afford to live in but is a terrific place to visit with awesome surrounding areas.
Nashville is also nice. It's rather quaint by comparison. It has more of a one track culture. Everything is based around music, and I guess food too. That has its charm to be sure, but it doesn't have quite the variety that San Fran does.
SF, with Nashville right behind.
I haven't been to KC, and Green Bay really isn't anything but a stadium and suburbs, right? Having only been 2 of the 4 I'll make the ignorant decision that those are the best.
The 9ers stadium is farther away from its home city than any other NFL team, by the way, so you could count that against them for the sake of this argument, I guess.

Obviously San Francisco for the weather and the food. What are your favorite food spots? Besides Hooters, where he was beaten by Patriots fans with golf clubs, and then baseball bats on retelling?

People keep saying San Fran because of the weather but in the summer it's too hot in the day and too cold at night. Plus I like to bike but it's too hilly for that passtime to be enjoyable. And I'm a particular eater so its restos are out too.
Nashville too country-related.
Green Bay? Even including Milwaukee it's a no.
The correct answer is KC. A solid Italian influence without all the tourists of San Fran.

San Francisco
I've lived in the Bay Area since 1991, so I'm biased, and yes, there is a LOT about San Francisco that has gone downhill in the last 20 years or so. The homeless problem has gone way beyond control, unfortunately. Like just about any place totally run by liberals, Frisco has become a city where only the super rich and the super poor are thriving. If you're a working class schmuck? Good luck.....
But.....
Even with it's many faults (pardon the pun), there is still no place on Earth quite like San Francisco. If you've ever been hanging out in Golden Gate Park, or Diamond Heights, or the Haight, or Pac Bell Park, or the Pier, or a friend's back porch on a beautiful Sunday night in the middle of July, you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. There is a magic there that is totally unique, and there's nothing in Green Bay, KC, or Nashville that is anywhere near that.

Don't liberals want to tax the 'super rich' to the extreme to alleviate the economic pressure on the middle class? Also, why won't Trump release his tax returns? What do you suppose he's hiding? He seems like such a man of the people with his buildings named after himself and countless lawsuits from employees he's fucked over. Let's consider these rhetorical questions. I honestly have no interest in this discussion. But you brought up politics.

To have a strong balance is to have a strong culture and thriving community.
