I've watched a few of the AIP and independent biker films in recent times. I was surprised to discover Peter Fonda and co. did other biker movies before Easy Rider (which I have not seen). The DP for a few of them was praised for getting such steady camera footage before Steadycam.
I think the wild shenanigans of the bikers often come across as quaint now. I have watched ones that star Fonda, John Cassavetes, Jack Nicholson, Hell Angels '69 etc.
Werewolves on Wheels is disappointing.
