Anybody is overlooking the importance of "The New Mutants" in the X-Men continuity.
We got a 34 years old Roberto da Costa/Sunspot (Adan Canto) in year 2023 (DOFP). This means that Sunspot will be 18 years old in the mid-2000s or late-2000s. Besides, we also know that Illyana/Magik is the little sister of Colossus, and we already got an adult Piotr/Colossus in 1999/2000.
So "The New Mutants" is placed in the 2000s, I would say 2008 or so.
If there are NO reference to the mutant race going gradually "extinct" or the lack of mutant births since 2004, we can safely assume that "Logan" is an alternate continuity. Hopefully.
"The New Mutants" could be the final milestone in the continuity and the key to understand the fate of the revised timeline better.

If by "they" you mean all of those that responded to your post in that link, you really should look up the interpretation of "all"

There, you can continue, this time without the petty insults about a series of superhero movies.

I'm sure "The New Mutants" will reveal more about the fate of the mainstream universe and the place of "Logan". Interesting.

Fox obviously never put much thought into the continuity of their X-Men films, and I more or less gave up on that after 2016.

There, you can continue, this time without the petty insults about a series of superhero movies. They aren't insults about a series of movies, but insults towards Supperhero for his delusional and deranged behaviour, such as constantly necroing his own post that no one is posting in because no one wants to engage with him, insisting his fan fiction is the definitive timeline for all X-Men movies, and just blatantly lying about things easily proven to be lies. Also before you say we shouldn't insult him/each other at all then why did you leave his comments where he's saying people are detached from reality because they don't agree with him? double standard much? You need to stop coddling the trolls, let him take the verbal spanking he may learn not to be such a numpty that way.

No. Only the Adamantium in his body. That's alien. Extra-terrestrial as that actually means not of this world, where as alien can simply mean foreign, so a metal only found or made in certain countries but not others would be an alien metal, then again wouldn't any alloy would count as alien? so that's not saying much.

Wait... What? Adamantium is extraterrestrial now? Watch "X-Men Origins". Adamantium, or at least one pivotal component to chemically obtain it, is found inside a meteorite which fell on Africa years or decades before. That's why Stryker sent Team X to rescue it.

That insinuates that Adamantium is comprised of Vibranium which it is not.

Wait... What? Adamantium is extraterrestrial now? According to Origins, which I think is a nod to Vibranium, but because Adamantium in the comics is a man made substitute for Vibranium which the X-Movies couldn't use obviously they had to then figure their own origin for it in their head, didn't need to but they did, now it's from a meteorite...

No watch the first 10-15 minutes of Origins, up until Logan leaves the group, because after that the movie turns to shit, and those shitty CGI claws are fucking ridiculous in this movie.
