Twin Falls, Idaho television schedule for Friday 14 June 1957. Only one problem: Only one station! I like to refer to these single-station-multiple-network schedules as "squeeze schedules", as three networks get "squeezed" into a single station. Still, there were viewing options with music, sports, drama, game show, and comedy. My newspaper source is very hard to read, hence why some times are not shown. Note: it extremely likely some of these shows were being shown on a delayed basis. This was common: In some areas, a show could be seen up to several weeks after the original network telecast and on a different day of the week. A week of Melbourne Australia television schedules from November 1956, when TV in the city was only a few days old. Only a single station, HSV-7, at the time, but two more launched within a short amount of time. Note: series like "The Judy Jack Show", "Douglas Fairbanks Jr. Presents", "Hopalong Cassidy" and "The Patti Page Show" appeared on more than one day during the week. I only linked to their IMDb pages on one of the days, I hope that is OK. Meanwhile, some series like "Faith for Today" (an obscure U.S. import) I can't find on IMDb (there's a series by that name on IMDb, but it's not the same series. Similarly, the "World News Round-Up" listed on IMDb is not the series listed below). I have now posted 28 days of schedules each for USA, UK, Australia and Canada, usually a day of programming on each post, but one post for each consisted of a full week of programming. Needless to say, that's a lot of schedules in total.
With the U.S, I've done 1950s schedules from I believe 14 different cities, which range from having seven stations to just one station.
I'd like to get 1950s TV schedules for elsewhere, but have no idea where to look. Lots of countries had TV in the 1950s, including Mexico, France, Russia, West Germany, East Germany, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Thailand, Japan, and various others. No idea where to get their TV schedules though.
