" Hope? Let me tell you something, my friend. Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane. It’s got no use on the inside. You’d better get used to that idea." Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies. Sorry, I edited it and added more. "He that lives upon hope will die fasting."

Actually they've all been good. It's a great time to be a Marvel fan. There's so much good stuff. I mean freaking Punisher is out this week, we just had Ragnarok, Spidery was awesome, Guardians 2 was super good, Panther looks awesome in February, and then fucking Infinity War.
It's just so amusing by contrast how DC has produced 4 out of 5 duds. I mean WTF are they doing?
Nope, you're not biased at all Sadly you're wasting your time with arf arf. I have tried to have discussions with him (which he pretends to want) but his side of the "discussion" is always "mcu is perfect anything else is shit" That tends to stifle any chance at an enlightening discourse. Even when I point out the universal acclaim from both audiences and critics for movies like Wonder Woman or Deadpool or Logan or even Spiderman 2 he says they are all shit and Spidey's Homecoming Dance is the only Spiderman movie that's not shit. He's just a silly troll who has nothing at all in his life except prattling on ceaselessly about the mcu. His odd passive aggressive style of trolling is effective for placating the mod though. Also whenever I make a post pointing out what a fraud arf arf is he always immediately makes a thread he thinks will prove I was wrong about him like "Will we see Grey Hulk soon?" or talks about pondering the universe whilst hiking Mount Everest thus proving he isn't just a silly troll. I always get a good laugh out of those so I guess it's not a TOTAL waste of time.

Of course you do because you are a troll. Thank you for proving my point. I thought you wanted to have a discussion but your little 2 word response after I made several salient points prove you are exactly what I've always said you are. A mean spirited petty little troll. Because Deadpool and Logan weren't better than every MCU movie. They're good for sure, and better than some, I'll listen to that, but they're better than all of them? That's silly, and doesn't deserve any response. Well actually seeing as how hundreds of thousands of users have rated Logan and Deadpool higher than any MCU movie on IMDb with the exception of Thor Ragnarok which will naturally dip lower in time.... And that Logan also has superior reviews to all but the one MCU movie, The Avengers, on Rotten Tomatoes then it's not particularly silly at all and would be worth a proper response.

Aside from The Avengers which has an 8/10, Logan has a higher ratings than all other MCU movies. And between Logan and The Avengers, the former is in the IMDb Top 250 and not the latter. So it's not silly at all to say it's the best especially as the masses already rate the movie superior to all MCU movies to begin with.

I have no problem with Logan, so why are we talking about it?

ArArArchStanton You and Poelzig were discussing it and you rudely dismissed the idea that Logan was better than all MCU movies as being silly even though it'sseen that way by many. Lord Death ManI have no idea why a character like that would even warrant a movie in the first place.

Lord Death Man I have no idea why a character like that would even warrant a movie in the first place. Madrox did become a pivotal X-Men character in the early 2000s with a star turn in New X-Men and a mini series that saw him open his own detective agency (à la Jessica Jones). Still don't get why they'd make a movie about him without some weirdly out of character angle.

Ok get back to me on how Logan had the cultural impact of Avengers, or with the list of other projects studios are working on trying to replicate it, or how it's fundamentally changed Hollywood.
Also, did you actually delete my thread talking about how Ragnarok is projected to beat Justice League at the box office?

It doesn't have to have a cultural impact to be considered better. Logan only just came out in March so what impact would it have even made in 7 months? And no not fully, I merged your and the other posts with the other thread that also said the movie was expected to make $110 million on opening weekend. That way you don't have continue to bait people even more.

And thank you for not deleting it, but I am perfectly cool with that merger.
I'm seriously not baiting people, I know that people who care about it will feel baited, but I'm seriously just enjoying watching these results. I know that might sound bizarre to some who don't understand why somebody wouldn't like DC, but I really am. I love marvel, I don't apologize for that, and to see Thor about to deliver a teeth shattering knockout blow to Justice League is just,,,, well I'm smiling my ass off writing this because it's just satisfying as hell that might actually happen. Thor dominates Justice League. Who would have ever thought, and I really love it.

Meh, Wonder Woman's first movie outgrossed Civil War domestically and that was practically an Avengers movie also starring Spider-man, Black Panther and Ant-man.
Like I said before, name alone don't really mean much of anything anymore.

Nice theory. On the other hand you still keep belaboring the MCU 100% of the time even though not all of those movies have been 100% good.
So here's 40% thanks!

That's complete nonsense. Two thirds have been dreadful. I mean freaking Punisher is out this week,
So unlike JL you are ignoring the awful reviews that Punisher is getting.
