This comes from a website which claims to have seen Snyder's original cut of the film, take with a grain of salt though - linkHonestly, most of this sounds pretty good. If most of this ended up in the final film it would've greatly improved upon it. I really want to see this version of the film, only question is would Warner Bros. even be willing to release it to home video, there's also a question of how much VFX work was done with some sequences too - I cannot really imagine them being allowed to finished if production changed to a different pair of hands, which indeed happened here.

Sounds terrible. Glad we never saw it. Besides Barry's first encounter with Iris and what becomes of Cyborg I'd say this sounds like a much better version of the movie we got, especially considering how it tied much better in earlier films - Superman's resurrection seemed like a retcon.

Unfiltered Snyder is NOT better than Snyder with a side of Whedon.

The Barry Iris scene.....idk, I've seen and have the deleted footage and it's pretty different, unless they had 2 Barry Iris scenes, one at the library and on at a cafe/traffic

Unfiltered Snyder is NOT better than Snyder with a side of Whedon. Yet the author says otherwise. Unfiltered Snyder is why the DCEU is dumpster fire. Unfiltered Snyder is why WB is in the mess they're in to begin with. Unfiltered Snyder is why the DCEU is commonly regarded as a shitfest.

"Superman brings Lois here. however, he is still very confused and not knowing what’s happening. Bystanders are looking at him and clicking his photos. This confuses him further and he actually tries to attack the civilians with his laser-eyes before Lois manages to calm him down."
Same old Snyder Superman.

It's possible it was like a Flash bookend thing. You've seen the footage, right?

Yeah the part is pretty iffy, I'm okay with that being cut out.

Yet Snyder's original version, most of it, tells a more rounded story than the actually released version. Snyder doesn't tell rounded stories. He slaps together action scenes with little cohesive tissue to make his glorified video game cutscenes palpable. He's a talentless hack and always will be a talentless hack.

Some of it sounds great, some of it sounds bad. I think they should've added the killing of Steppenwolf by Darkseid , the scene where Bruce admits that his killing was wrong and he's become something he shouldn't, and the Deathstroke-Luthor escape scene .
