Will Anyone Survive? Link
Holy crap! Is it really bad enough to destroy the entire DCEU?

People said the exact same thing for Wonder Woman following Batman vs Superman and Suicide Squad and then it was the most profitable Superhero movie of 2017 anyway.

Difference is that Wonder Woman’s opening wasn’t that far from JL. It made most of its money from its legs. Due to the fact it was a decent movie and something women went crazy for.

Justice League (DC’s A team) is going to get its clock cleaned by Thor:R (Marvels B team). The WB’s worst nightmare. From the exec’s perspective, at least BvS and SS made some respectable coin. JL is looking like a critical and financial disaster. Double whammy!

Hela of a thing, huh?

Ouch! That must hurt (though I wouldn't know, I don't follow these crappy DC movies. That POS called MoS told me everything I can expect from this cinematic universe).

They were two of the first Marvel lead characters and make up half of the main team that is The Avengers. They're as much of a B Team as Iron Man or Captain America. Justice League includes three characters who don't even have a movie at all.

Justice League and Avengers may be considered A list too. The rest is lower tier. At least that was so before the MCU and DCEU. Now Iron Man, Captain America and Thor are knocking on the door.

Don't you remember how DC fans keep saying how all of Marvels' characters are B-Listers except for Spidey and the X-Men? As far as they're concerned, Iron Man and Cap and Thor will always be B-Listers and never anything more.

Iron Man, Captain America and Thor were much more well known than Wonder Woman by 2015. They probably still are now.

Well they were at one point. So were the X-Men, at one point. I still see it, to X-Fans and DC Fans characters like Iron Man and Cap will always be B-Listers unworthy of their time.

So were the X-Men, at one point. Well then technically they were all were at one point. Prior to any movies though the X-men were far more well known than Iron Man or Thor. They had the best selling comic of all time, one of the most popular cartoons of that time, they had a whole bunch of games etc. They weren't that much worse off than Spider-man. Yeah a few people. There's naysayers over every little thing who cares. They obviously aren't. Thor, Hulk and Doctor Strange would be more well known than half the Justice League line up. Cyborg is a nobody. Aquaman is mostly known among the comic community as a joke. Which just leaves The Flash who is pretty well known but not to that extent without a worldwide movie.

I think both companies should have a break from making superhero movies for a decade. I was reading an article about Justice League and they said its disappointing figures are a sign of superhero movie fatigue and they should scale back on the upcoming superhero movies and it is looking that way. A 10 year break will benefit superhero movies because it will be new when they come back again.
It is time for both companies to move onto something new and original.

Well then technically they were all were at one point. I'm talking about back in the 60s when they first started, they couldn't even hold a book until they did that "All-New X-Men" stuff back in the 1970s. QUITE a few people. They're outright OFFENDED that Marvel has dared to try and raise the profile of any of them and see it an insulting that there are people who enjoy stories about them. Yeah, and that's what DC fans just can't stand.

And who are these people? Where is this said? If there's quite a few then it's easy to point out. Who exactly are these DC fans that are personally offended because Marvel is making movies of these characters and making them more well known? Are these the same people who also went and voted Batman Begins up after The Dark Knight came out?

And who are these people? Most every X-Fan I've ever encountered. Hell, you want just the folks on this board? That's easy. And it's not just DC fans. There are Spidey Fans and X-Fans who hate that any Marvel character who isn't Spidey or the X-Men gets any respect whatsoever. As far as they're concerned, Marvel is only Spidey and X-Men and not one other character matters.

Most every X-Fan I've ever encountered. Such as who in particular? Sure, which users here are offended because Marvel raised the profile of certain Marvel characters.

Most every X-Fan I've ever encountered. Such as who in particular? Here alone, we got colden/charzino/tristan/poelzig/DC-Fan. Off the top of my head. On the old forums we had Question07 and Wormhole. On top of that, you have to remember everyone who kept saying that the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie would bomb and destroy the MCU. Every single person who thought that also are the ones who hate that MCU is making other characters acceptable and enjoyable. Just named them.

Incredible Hulk made $134 mill. First Avenger made $176 mill Ant-Man made $180 mill Thor made $181 mill Dark World made $206 mill Dr Strange made $236 mill. Ragnarok is currently at $267 mill behind Winter Soldier at $273 mill. Homecoming made $334 mill. Even using both heroes it is struggling to match Homecoming with Marvel's A-lister Spiderman

No. People who don't like superhero movies can just not go. I didn't see Titanic in the theater. I didn't see Avatar in the theater. Thelma & Louise. Fried Green Tomatoes. Moonlight...dont remember when the last time I saw the Best Movie Oscar winner in theater...Driving Miss Daisy? Hollywood is full of haters. There are movie press who love failure. They are waiting for Marvel to fail. They wanted John Carter to fail because it cost so much. They want the DCEU to fail. They want all the other cinematic universes to fail. As a 57 yr old fan of fantasy stuff, I'm loving the MCU. I've lived the stupid cycles, the droughts of stuff I enjoy seeing. People are seeing Ragnarok meaning the only superhero fatigue is poorly made movies.
