It's not confusing. I miss you. Is it so hard to beleieve? You left me with these half wits... Let's start with you rescinding this "half wit" comment. Waxer and Ryboto are not half wits. They are long-time fans of the franchise who have made intelligent posts that you don't agree with. It's okay to think and say they have bad taste if their tastes don't suit you, but when you narrow an argument down to ad hominems, there's no place left for it to go. Which is why I put you on ignore, because there was no place left to go. If you're not careful, you're going to lose both of them as willing conversationalists too. You seem to love debate, so don't mess this up and lose two more debate partners. For whatever masochistic reason each has, each has been willing to continue sparring with you. You should be grateful instead of calling them names. I have no interest in your minions. And you are wrong I like debate where there is debate, what's happening here is you fail to see even one of my arguments or concede something how small that may be... That's not debate is a one sided pounding that amuses me as how feeble it is, until it dosen't. And yes when I tag you it's me trolling you. I admit it. See?

If you feel as though I fail to see any of your points or concede anything, and, if all I do is pound you, why do you keep asking me back for more poundings? Why are you trolling me specifically and, for that matter, why would you troll anybody? The only people I troll are trolls and I only troll them for a minute. Am I a troll that you are trolling?

I was having a friendly chat with some nice people. And here you come calling me a Troll. You are the best! And I did answer the question, and even if I didn't what's it to you? It was with waxler i was talking. You just came and defend your bully friend, is that it? Without Winter you just embarass yourselfs...

See the answer to Ryboto. Also you never see Luke being trained with lightsabers, unless some remote action is training enough, and i am made to believe he can confront Vader and actually wound him? Stretchs of imagination are part of SW since the beggining. Did he train very hard between ANH and ESB, very very hard? Rey from TFA would obliterate Luke from ESB in a heartbeat. She had to survive for years and years. She stumbled in the beggining because she was caught by surprise by all what's happening around her. The force download it's called focus. First, I saw your answer to ryboto - it's a fanfic answer. It was a download of the Force by Rey. JJ Abrams has been quoted as saying that it was. He didn't even get the idea from SW lore or mythos. He got it from a friend who is a feminist/cultural fiction writer. Secondly, we never saw Yoda give Luke lightsaber training onscreen in TESB (there was a deleted scene where he did however). Nevertheless Yoda put Luke through weeks of rigorous physical training (as we saw) in addition to the more cerebral training in the Force. And do I need to remind you that even though Luke landed one blow he was dominated most of the entire duel, and he loss. Rey won. Thirdly, it does little to explain Rey's sloppiness until her Force download. And why did she need to be reminded of using the Force in dueling by Kylo mentioning it when he offered to be her teacher? She just used the Force to best Kylo in the lightsaber pull. Bad writing. So then why wasn't Kylo grazed or even just pushed back by Rey? Why didn't she once mount a charge or tax Kylo into a pause in battle until her Force download? She is a better, more experienced dueler than Finn. Where we watching the same movie? Kylo never bested Luke. Luke fought Kylo to a standstill and left Kylo unsuccessful and frustrated. Kylo finally realizes Luke is just an astral projection right before Luke expires. By then Kylo has lost his attempt to defeat Luke and he lost the chance to advance on the base in time to capture or kill everyone. I can only scratch my head at your interpretation of it. You didn't have an answer for that, huh? Well if is pretty hard to find an argument against it. I never got the sense Kylo said anything to trick Rey. Rey said she saw Kylo's future in which he has a choice to do good and redeem himself. Later on (in Snoke's throne room) Snoke revealed that it was him causing Rey to see that. The rest was Rey developing this "I'm going to save a bad boy from himself - and maybe he'll fall in love with me for it!" crush, when she saw Kylo bare-chested. Here again, I saw something different from what you're describing. You can't reinterpret the details to create the way you want to see the story. Okay. You're blending 2 separate things here. An emotional conflict of light and dark emotions and desires is not the same as training taken from both sides of the Force. If being trained in both disciplines makes one weak (as you are implying with Kylo) then it would've made Count Dooku weak. And to a lesser extent Mace Windu, but neither one of them was weakened by that process. No, training under 2 diametrically opposed masters does not make one weak. In fact according to the lore, previous examples have been quite strong and formidable opponents. Well, points for giving a detailed opinion on why you believe she does. But I'll be posting a thread on this soon. It'll have some interesting points and questions on the subject. I can't say that the majority of your answers were satisfactory, unfortunately.

First, I saw your answer to ryboto - it's a fanfic answer. It was a download of the Force by Rey. JJ Abrams has been quoted as saying that it was. He didn't even get the idea from SW lore or mythos. He got it from a friend who is a feminist/cultural fiction writer. We saw nothing of the sorts. We saw a few scenes that could have taken place in a single day... Weeks is conjecture (to use a loved expression) Against a more than prepared Vader you bet he lost. And even so he denied him his goal. That's just it! God, he sees that she bested him by instinct alone, she dosen't know what she did, what it meant. She needs a teacher like I'm telling you and Kylo knows it.
Maybe because she was just pushed into a tree moments before... IDK that kind of shakes ones head. The force download (god even i i'm calling it instead of focus) was an in extremis reaction. I was talking about that time where, you know kylo dropped a house on luke... You lost me... Must be alll this quoting and bolding. Well I did, and it was confirmed that he wanted her there and had ulterior motives. LOL yeah kylo bare-chested was a sight for sore eyes LOL Nor can you... I saw what i saw, you saw what you wanted to see. What's the difference? That i'm wrong and you are right? Well that's a matter of opinion innit? Okay. Yes, but those characters fell into the dark side completeley. Kylo didn't, he was unable to kill her mother because of that conflict, one that is not force related but has impact on his submission to it. Mace Windu was trained in the dark side? Didn't catch that. Thank you. I'll be there counter arguing. I can't say that the majority of your answers were satisfactory, unfortunately.

Kylo didn't, he was unable to kill her mother because of that conflict, one that is not force related but has impact on his submission to it. Your interpretation is the issue. Just because you use your inner 'dark' side as access to force powers does not mean you will be a hate filled monster that would want to kill his mother. Also...he did try to kill her...what did I miss there?

Not killing your mommy but killing millions of others including your father will suffice. Also, as for Leia: Kylo boy may no have shot Leia into space himself but he let it happen and did not pout and whine about it a bit (he pouts and Emo-frets about spilled moof milk - see his constantly trembling under-lip): Plus: late in the film (Act 3), the gives the order to kill everyone of the rebels/resistance and not to take prisoners.

He had the leader of the rebellion in his sights but didn't shoot. A true dark side user would not hesitate. Sidious, Maul, tyrannus. Maybe Vader if the sand people didn't catch her first. He didn't let go of the past. He couldn't. After the confrontation with snoke and Rey, and the speech he gives he might. The whole point of the movie is confront your past... And what you do with it. Luke goes as a hero. Leia with hope. Rey with newfound objective. Kylo as a true dark Sider. All of them had to forget the past and start anew. The tragedy is that the bad guy is the one who is right, but has the wrong motivation. I like that.
