Yes. They have. How can you have an eternal consciousness without a vehicle for knowing it? I have a theory that the people who think they have no soul really don't have one. It goes on to say that the people who think they have a soul do so because they perceive it (Okay, that part is in the books already). It is just a theory though. Quite much literature deals with "robots" (cyborgs, androids et cetera) and how such things might behave in various situations. It's possible some of those writers were exploring a type similar to people they have met. I also think that if you don't have soul you might be able to get one or actuate some pre-soul or something. Have you tried snow boarding? This must clearly be the problem Arlon. I have only tried cross country skiing so I remain 'soulless'. It generally doesn't bother me, butt when I pat dogs, I get a little jealous of them.

Before you try snowboarding and perhaps break an arm or a leg, maybe try reading The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius. You can probably get a used paperback copy under ten dollars on Amazon. It's worth about a million dollars, so that is a pretty good deal. You might find a kindred spirit.

A Yes. They have. How can you have an eternal consciousness without a vehicle for knowing it? Please show me where the mind is goz? It is seated in the physics and chemistry of the brain, as previously stated. How about YOU show me where you think the mind is.

Erjen was a member of the White Rose party. You know, the Nazi resistance group that fought against hatred of people based on ethnicity and sexual orientation. The White Rose began opposing the Nazis when they found out that the Nazis were feeding the German people a bunch of lies; telling them that they were winning the war when really they were losing it. It was still a moderately amusing post, though. 5/10. I try. I think I only got a 5/10 as I was taking a not so subtle swipe at you.

AIt is seated in the physics and chemistry of the brain, as previously stated. How about YOU show me where you think the mind is. The mind is an abstract. If it is seated in the physics and chemistry of the brain, please show me the mind. There are brain scans and MRIs showing the neural processes working which are measurable and mappable with algorithms. Neuroscientists see this on a daily basis. The 'thought' of the mind is abstract, the way the brain works to give us the consciousness of the mind, is not. It is a science. I told you, my co-in law is working on the software of stimulating different areas of the brain to produce differences in thought patterns and brain activities for therapeutic purposes. People when being scanned can have appreciable differences in their measurable thought processes both on command and autonomically and now also with external and internal electrical stimulation by computerised technology. This already has some applications for stroke, brain trauma, neurodegenerative diseases, Parkinson's etc and some mental illnesses.
