Killing the accuser outright does not remove the accusation.

tpfkar Hate to spoil the big surprise for ya... But.. I think that's how the book ends. " Wait... Wha-?!" Once the dirty work is done, the mob Boss eliminates His chief lieutenant. Now, therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known a man by lying with him; but all the women-children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

'You're allowed free will, but if you do anything bad you'll go to hell for all eternity'.
That sounds more like coercion to me.
And all 'eternity'?
This God bloke sounds like a real hateful c-nt!

Why is that in quotes as if it's something someone other than you said?

What other parts of the Bible would you like to know about?

Why is that in quotes as if it's something someone other than you said? I'm paraphrasing what god is basically saying, not quoting exactly.

What other parts of the Bible would you like to know about? Well you could start by answering that question first!

You are paraphrasing nothing but your imagination.

You are paraphrasing nothing but your imagination. So you won't go to hell for all eternity if you do something wrong then?

Or more succinctly, why would he create the being that would become Satan to begin with? And, as I understand Christian doctrine, Satan won't be killed, just punished eternally. 'Course, the problem might be that Satan is actually a god and can't actually be killed, so it wouldn't be God's fault at all. He's just not omnipotent when it comes to other "gods."

Everyone does something wrong. And there is no indication we would be tortured for all eternity. Death is sufficient and I never understood why people have a need to amp up beyond dying which in and of itself sucks. So people need to get bent out of shape at only perfect people getting to live forever rather than eternal torture.

This God bloke sounds like a real hateful c-nt! Well, from a human perspective. From a faith perspective, no matter how blood-soaked, immoral, capricious and just plain nasty it is, if He does or directs it, it is by definition Good™. Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ.

'Course, the problem might be that Satan is actually a god and can't actually be killed, so it wouldn't be God's fault at all. He's just not omnipotent when it comes to other "gods." He didn't create Satan which is the point. The answer is always going to be the same. People, spirit or human, are allowed to make decisions that are contrary to their best interests. Satan is simply a title to describe what someone is or has become and most people are resisters of God's will. If that happens among humans then it's entirely possible that the ones we mirror have the free will to do as they wish too. Satan can be killed, but there's no reason to think or even know what the death penalty would mean for a spirit creature or angel. Scripture seems to indicate that he will be killed, but revelation mentioned eternal torment. However, in the same chapter of revelation, it also appears to mention the same lake as one of death. So no matter what, Satan is as good as dead with no shot of coming back.

And you lot worship the petty creature that created this situation?
Definitely not for me.

Despite what you may think though, I wouldn't physically torture anyone; not even jews.
