Ugh. I'll never forgive or forget what Disney's done to him. Nobody wants force ghost Luke! Fuckin' fuck! Really? So Luke is supposed to live forever and never become one with the Force?

The Finn/Rose relationship was forced, even more so than Anakin/Padme, even if more believable and written and performed far better.

That's only according to what Kylo knows, and we don't know what he doesn't know.
Remember, Darth Vader didn't realize he had children, and when he discovered he had a son, he didn't know until nearly the very end that he also had a daughter.

Legal gun-owning Americans are certainly enjoying their rights!
Let freedom ring (with you know what)!

I wonder if the title of Episode IX is a reference to that line from Episode III.

If Darth Sidious wasn't going to be in The Rise of Skywalker in his recognizable form in some capacity, he wouldn't be on the poster like that.

This is what I think is going to be revealed about Rey's lineage:
Just as with Luke and Leia, Rey was given to another couple in protective custody and hiding.
However, unlike the Organas and the Larses, Rey's foster parents turned out to be unreliable, drunken lowlifes, which explains why Rey was abandoned on Jakku with the junk dealer.
Rey's real parents would have never done that.
And like his grandfather Darth Vader before him not knowing that he even fathered Luke and Leia let alone not knowing their whereabouts, Kylo Ren is similarly unaware of Rey's true lineage, only knowing her tragic and seemingly pathetic Jakku backstory.
That's why I posit the above theory.

"I had the toys before the cartoon came out. They came with little books depicting He Man as a Conan type barbarian. What time of the video is relevant to your claim?"
I remember this, too. Actually, I just had a He-Man action figure, along with the little comic book just like you described.
I got it for either Christmas or a birthday, and I was like, what the hell is this, although I thought it was cool.
And then not long after that, the cartoon came out, and then later the movie.
But I wonder where my parents found out about this thing and what made them get it?
I mean, they know I'm into Star Wars, Star Trek, and superheroes, so maybe this looked like something like that.

$300 million in North America only or worldwide?
If it's $300 million in North America, that's pretty impressive after two weeks of release.

Unlike a lot of people, I had no problem with the idea of the Crystal Skulls either.
Actually, Spielberg didn't like the ending of the movie involving the spacecraft -- or the "spaces between spaces" craft.
However, he had to go along with the idea, because even though he co-created Indiana Jones with George Lucas, Lucas was the primary creator and sole owner of the character before selling Lucasfilm, and as such, Lucas was the main writer of the stories for the Indiana Jones movies and his ideas reigned supreme over everyone else's.
So even though Spielberg is the director of the franchise, Lucas was the boss.
Now that Lucasfilm belongs to Disney, I wonder if Spielberg will now get to call the shots, or if Disney/Lucasfilm is in total, complete charge.
