Ok. So any bets on if she will get her own series in the 2019-2020 season?

Guess it depends on how well she is received and ratings for the cross-over.

Thanks for sharing this Josh. On one hand I am very excited about it too 'cause I have been waiting years to see a live action adaption of Batwoman and as some of you already know I am a huge fan of the Bat Family. Hopefully the ‘Arrowverse’ does a good job of handling Batwoman ‘cause we saw what they did with Starling and I kinda have more faith in the writers of ‘Gotham’ with Bat Family characters but I am thrilled that we are FINALLY going to get a live action Batwoman on screen and if they make a ‘Batwoman’ TV show which looks to be the plan I think they will most likely have her sidekick and cousin, Hawkfire/Flame-Bird (Bette Kane) ‘cause you know they like having extra side characters in these shows and Ragman was in the ‘Batwoman’ New 52 series so he might end up on a ‘Batwoman’ TV show. This could be awesome or it could be a big letdown. Some sites are saying it is going to be used to bring in other Bat Family characters too and make a Bat Family show and I think a lot will depend on how they write the characters and the actors they get to play them. Who would you like to see play Batwoman. Here is an article with some suggestions along with another about Batwoman. Who should play Batwoman in the Arrowverse?ew.com/tv/who-should-play-batwoman-in-the-arrowverse/#12Next Arrowverse Crossover Includes Batwoman & Gotham Cityscreenrant.com/arrowverse-crossover-batwoman-gotham-city/#leave-comment

I'd caution lowering expectations. These shows have a very bad history of doing piss poor interpretations of characters that disappoint fans.

You have a good point but as somebody who has been waiting a long time to see these characters on screen I am happy we are finally going to see them and I am hoping they are better written than some other adaptions we have had like Evelyn/ Starling who was nothing like she was in the 'Birds of Prey' comic books. I am also glad we aren't on the old IMDB Boards 'cause I could just see it now "aaahhh the gay agenda. It is the gay agenda. They are forcing a lesbian superhero on us!! Think of the children who are going to see it. Ahhhhh!!!"

I can't believe we're getting a lesbian superhero and she could have her own show. I may not like these shows but I gotta give them props for this. This is fucking A.

Yeah, no conspiracy theories about SJW plot to ruin television. Because as we all know, inclusiveness is not about fair representation. It's about stealing from white, heterosexual, cisgendered men.

I think it is amazing we are finally going to have a lesbian superhero on TV and if a ‘Batwoman’ TV show goes through it will be very historic for not only being the first TV show about a lesbian superhero but also the first TV show since ‘The L Word’ to have a lesbian in the leading role. I love how homophobes like to claim the gay agenda is ruining TV but when they are asked to name one TV show that has a lesbian in a leading role apart from ‘The L Word’ they can’t name any ‘cause we haven’t had any major ones since 'The L Word' and the majority of lesbian characters are killed off on TV shows which is where the ‘bury your gays’ trope came from. The closest we have had to something like this was ‘Lost Girl’ which had a bisexual lead who ends up with her girlfriend at the end). If there is one thing Warner Bros has been really good at so far it is representation and apart from ‘Wonder Woman’ we have ‘Birds of Prey’ (which was recently confirmed to be the next movie after ‘Wonder Woman 2’), ‘Batgirl’ and ‘Harley Quinn’ coming and Jim Lee has said ‘Supergirl’ will be a part of the DCEU. Be prepared for more of them to complain with this. Supergirl Season 4 Reportedly Casting a Transgender Characterscreenrant.com/supergirl-season-4-transgender-character/#leave-commentI am surprised it has taken America so long to have a transgender character in a big role in a TV show ‘cause we have already had a few here in Australia in our TV shows like ‘Secret City’ which starred Ana Torv (from ‘Fringe’) and her best friend and ex-husband was transgender and America is usually ahead of us with a lot of things like that.

Ohh, everything is about screwing over the white cisgendered heterosexual male to people like that. When we are lesbians we are “stealing their women” and only doing it to get their attention not ‘cause we are emotionally and sexually attracted to each other ‘cause they can’t possibly fathom that especially when we are not what they call “ugly butch dykes” and they are attracted to us and when we date black men we are doing it ‘cause feminism teaches us to “screw over white males” and “pervert the bloodline.” The sense entitlement among these people is astonishing and when any movie or TV show has somebody who is not a white cisgendered heterosexual male in the leading role it is SJW’s out to screw them and they, of course overlook all the sexism, racism and homophobia in Hollywood which is why they have had so many movies and TV shows about white cisgendered heterosexual men.

If they are going to have a lesbian superhero she better be a lesbian. None of this hetero-normalizing bullshit the Marvel movies are doing or bisexualizing so they can have her sleeping with men. She needs to have a girlfriend and one that is hot. They're never going to find somebody as hot as me but Crystal Reed would be fine with Gotham ending. They had Maggie but Renee wasn't in the Arrow shows.

I think Kate Kane/ Batwoman is definitely going to be a lesbian in the 'Arrowverse' shows and as to who will be her love interest remains to be seen since they can't bring Maggie back to play her 'cause the actress is busy on another TV show now which is why she left. The 'Arrowverse' shows don't have a problem with LGBT representation and that is something they can be praised for but they haven't exactly been great at handling relationships on CW Network TV shows and nearly all of them have had love triangles at some point including 'Arrow' and 'The Flash' with Oliver/ Felicity/ Laurel and Barry/ Iris/ Patty or Eddie. Crystal Reed would be great to see in some other superhero shows but why not have her as a superhero instead of just a love interest? I wouldn't mind seeing Jessica Lucas play a superhero and would like to see her on the good side.

Don't even talk about love triangles Debbie in case they are reading your ideas now and put one in the Batwoman tv show because they mistake you for thinking it was a good idea. Love triangles have been done to death. Who comes up with this shit? It's the type of shit you find in those cringy teen shows like Dawson's Creek and One Tree Hill and should remain there. There would never be a love triangle between you and me and somebody else because you know I'd punch their lights in for even looking at my girl that way.

'Love Triangles' are pretty bad and they have been played out one too many times in TV shows and hopefully they don't have anything like that in a 'Batwoman' TV show 'cause I know for sure a lot of 'Batwoman' fans would hate it. There appears to be certain storylines they do in almost every TV show now and 'Love Triangles' is a common and reoccurring one and only that 'Angel' left 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and got his own TV show they almost had one with Angel and Riley but then they turned around later and had one with Spike and Riley with Buffy which was one of the low points of the show as James Marsters even said. I can understand why there are some people who don't want any relationships in these kinds of shows and in a show like 'Supergirl' there shouldn't be a main relationship 'cause Supergirl (Kara and Linda) didn't have a main love interest but I don't mind having relationships in them as long as they are better handled than a lot of them on these shows have been.

Got it, no triangles. So you're saying you want other polygons; love diamonds, love hexagons, love rhombuses?

It is still currently unknown who is going to be playing Batwoman but with the 'Arrowverse' shows all set to return in October and the big crossover event being in December I think we are going to find out in the coming months and they will most likely make a big announcement about it like they have for other actors and actresses who have joined these shows. I am hoping whoever they get is right for the role and they don't cast somebody who is completely wrong for the role of Batwoman 'cause whoever they hire is going to make or break the role. I don't think there will be any love triangles but we will just have to wait and see. I will post more updates as they appear online.

Hopefully they go for an actual red head and not a blonde and dye her hair. Or worse, change her hair color completely.
