If you want to decide he's a pedophile that's up to you, but surely you know that means nothing in reality, and if you want it to be true because you're not a fan of Marvel films then you might be more comparable to the guy who pointed out the tweets, you know the guy who told people to try raping women non violently (and that's not even bringing up what hehas been convicted of.

This conversation is endless but the only things that actually matter are the facts. James Gunn made lots of really bad taste/offensive jokes. There's nothing illegal about that, if he was under suspicion of anything whatsoever he was have been investigated, and if he ever has been they clearly didn't find anything.

If you don't commit any crimes or hurt anyone it really doesn't matter what you say on twitter, it's not even on the level of racism because he doesn't show any hatred of children.

The thing about making jokes in attempt to "normalize" pedophilia is dubious in the least. Do catholic priests joke about it in public forums? Did Jimmy Saville? Or did he just say he hates kids?(He did say that, so that people wouldn't think he was into them).

I just wrote a lot more than I expected about a guy who's movies I find somewhat cringe-worthy (and his online self promotion was pretty damn hateable too).

I can think of a couple of users on this board who want it to be true that child rape comments and endorsements of pedo content  are normal and do not make you a pedo or horrible person. They would deny it though.
