Omen II is pretty legit. Wasn't aware it had a bad reputation.

House II: The Second Story (1988) A Return to Salem’s Lot (1987) Amityville 3-D (1983) Maybe not love, but I do like; Return of the Living Dead Part II (1988) Halloween II (2009) Both I didn’t care for at first, but over time they’ve grown me. Some others; The Final Destination (2009) Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation 2004 Dracula II: Ascension 2003 An American Werewolf in Paris 1997 From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money 1999 Jaws 3D 1983 I like a lot of those too. The 'House' franchise is very underrated and I had a really difficult time tracking down all the movies on DVD especially 'House 3' (which just goes by 'The Horror Show' at most sites) and 'House 4' but I enjoyed all of them. I first discovered the 'House' movies at one of my local video shops and they had 'House 1 and 2' on VHS but I didn't know there were more movies until years later and did you know there was a fifth movie in 2008? It had Michael Madsen and it was different than the others but I thought it was okay and I wished I had bought it when it first came out 'cause I haven't seen it anywhere now. 'Return of the Living Dead 2' is a good Horror movie too and most Horror fans I know liked the first three movies but hated 4 and 5 and I am hoping the remake brings the series back to being as good as the older movies 'cause 4 and 5 were nothing like the first three movies and were just cash ins on the name. The “House” films are indeed an enjoyable franchise and original film was one of my first ever DVDs. Always had a soft spot for it. I’ve heard of the 2008 film “House” staring Michael Madsen, but I didn’t realise it was part of the House series. I thought it was a “Saw”/“The Collector” knockoff? Or is it something along the lines of “The Horror Show aka House III”, where the title was simply tacked on? I have to admit I’m not biggest fan of the original “Return of the Living Dead”. I like it, but don’t love it. Part 3 is actually my favourite. While Part 2 felt goofier, and a watered down rehash of the original... but over time I’ve begun to enjoy its silliness. As for Parts 4 & 5... never felt the need to check them out. Sounds like I’m not missing out in much either. I always thought in many people’s eyes Part 2 was the black sheep, before the latter two instalments arrived on the scene.

I thought Jason Takes Manhattan and Halloween Curse (even in producer's cut) were disappointing, i was never a fan of Leprechaun franchise. Child's Play 3 to me IS THE LAST Child's Play film worth a damn and should had ended! the other films after the trilogy are just spin-offs starring the Chucky character and i thought Bride was mediocre and the others were crap as this franchise needs to just die. I digress. Bride and Seed were disappointments, but I thought Curse was an excellent return-to-form (and the best of the series) and Cult was pretty good. But to each their own. Yeah. I agree and not to mention Andy and Kyle are back now and the 'Child's Play' TV series is going to have them in it going after Chucky so I would actually say 'Cult' and the upcoming TV series are more 'Child's Play' than the other 'spinoff' movies that just focus on Chucky 'cause they have got two of the main characters back and they are played by the original actors from 'Child's Play 1 and 2.' I am even more excited about 'Child's Play' now Andy and Kyle have returned.

Yeah. 'Origins' did suck and I think it was a mistake to replace Warwick Davis with Hornswoggle but I think Warwick Davis no longer wants to be in the movies 'cause he isn't going to be in 'Leprechaun Returns' either and that is coming out next year. One thing about a lot of these franchises that are still going or coming back with new actors it is going to be hard for them to recapture the success and popularity of the older movies especially when an actor is so well associated with a character and Robert Englund not returning as Freddy Kreuger hurt the 'Nightmare On Elm Street' remake and I think not having Warwick Davis is going to affect 'Leprechaun' going forward too. There are a number of actors like the one who played Tammy whose careers don't take off and I often find it weird 'cause they are better actors than some of the ones that do and go on to have heaps of roles in movies and TV shows. Lee Armstrong wasn't an astounding actress but I feel she was good as Tammy and there are far worse actors I have seen. I agree with this completely. Not sure how Leprechaun Returns will turn out, but I hope for the best. I do too. After how poorly received 'Leprechaun Origins' with Hornswaggle was received I think the future of the 'Leprechaun' franchise lies in the success of 'Leprechaun Returns' and if it flops we most likely won't see another 'Leprechaun' movie for a long time which is a shame 'cause I think under the right writers the 'Leprechaun' movies could still be good abut they really need to get back to what made the first three movies work in my opinion.

I always thought in many people’s eyes Part 2 was the black sheep, before the latter two instalments arrived on the scene. Yeah. I think they are classics and what is sad about the 'House' franchises is it is probably one of the least known Horror movie franchises around and I hardly know anybody who has seen the movies and think I am talking about the TV show with Hugh Laurie when I ask if they have seen them but the people I have convinced to watch the movies enjoyed them especially the first one and liked the second one too even though it was more of a Horror Comedy than the original. I am not exactly sure about the 2008 movie but I always assumed it was part of the 'House' franchise and was a reboot of some sort since the cover looked similar to the other movies and it was a Horror movie named 'House.' I wouldn't mind more 'House' movies and they are constantly remaking Horror movies so I am surprised the first movie hasn't been under consideration for a remake 'cause while it was never a major hit it did have a following and has had multiple movies.
'Return of the Living Dead 3' is my favourite movie in the franchise too and it is nice to meet somebody else who loves that movie too 'cause I know some fans of the 'Return of the Living Dead' movies saw it as a black sheep 'cause it was more of a serious Horror movie and didn't have a lot of the Comedy elements the previous movies had but I enjoyed it and I liked how they had Julie hold on to her humanity through love and try to fight what she was turning into instead of just becoming a mindless zombie. 'Return of the Living Dead 4 and 5' aren't worth watching and I would go as far to say they are two of the worst Horror movies I have seen and I heard they are rebooting the franchise now and making a new 'Return of the Living Dead' and I am hoping it is as good as the first three movies.

A hearty third, or is it fourth, for Howling III:The Marsupials! I don't understand why its not more liked. It really makes you root for the werewolves and FLOW is wonderfully eerie little village. Freddy's Revenge F13th V:A New Beggining F13thVIII:Jason Takes Manhattan A Return to Salem's Lot Rerurn of the Living Dead Part 2 Diary of the Dead Vampires:Los Muertos lostinlimbo Nice avatar! It's from The Iron Rose isn't it? I have a copy, but have only watched it twice. Makes me not miss your old chimp wearing a propeller beanie avatar on the d imdb.

I am not sure but that is an interesting question 'cause the ending of the latest movie had Chucky possessing Nica's body and I thought it was said if Chucky ever become human again he would be some powerful unstoppable warlock but maybe that was only if he got his own body back 'cause that would really change the series going forward. Brad Dourif is coming back for the show so I think Andy and Kyle will find a way to free Nica from Chucky's possession and Chucky will have to go back to being a good guy doll. One thing I read is the TV show is supposed to serve as a long movie and it was originally written as a movie but they thought it was too long and didn't want to cut it down so it has been extended into a TV series. I think it is only meant to go for one season and only have 10 or 13 episodes but knowing how popular Chucky is it might turn into multiple seasons especially since MGM with making the remake.

Yeah it might last for about 2-3 seasons. I’m gonna watch it eventually when it’s aired.

I haven’t seen it as much as Rollin’s other films, but many of the scenes from the film are imprinted in my mind. Especially the one the in avatar. Ha, strangely enough the other day I was changing my avatar pic on Letterboxd and in doing so I came across that old avatar pic. I thought I had deleted it. Maybe I should bring it back for a swirl?

I think “ROTL 3” is a lot better than what people give it credit for. Mindy Clarke was great as the inflicted zombie. Her zombie make-up, and transformation was impressive. With Brian Yuzna involved, there’s a “Re-animator” vibe to it. Somber, underlining dark humour and full-on splatter with doomed tragedy at its core. Demented, yet heartbreaking. Thinking about it makes me want to re-watch again.

I heard the 'Critters' TV show is going to be on a streaming service and there were a lot of fans disappointed over that and I hate how everything is moving over to streaming services now instead of channels 'cause it is really confusing and you would think a TV Show of 'Child's Play' would be on an actual channel.

There are some sequels that just get hated on 'cause they are not like the original movie and sometimes 'cause people just like to hate on movies 'cause other people do and I think 'Return of the Living Dead 3' has been one of those movies but it does have its fans and I am seeing more of them on the internet now than haters along with people who didn't give the film much of a chance before that have changed their opinion since watching it again. Mindy Clarke was great in the role of Julie and I liked the zombie makeup too and the only thing that could have been better in my opinion would have been if she had been cured at the end and they got a happy ending but I like happy endings.

It doesn't look like there is much information known about it at the moment apart from it continuing on from 'Cult of Chucky' as confirmed by Don Mancini who said the ending of 'Cult of Chucky' sets up the TV series (which saw Kyle return) but I did find out it is going to be an 8 part series and it is being described as darker than anything they have done before.

2001 That's a good one. I liked that and I wish they had made 'Mimic 3' a direct sequel to that movie with Remy returning instead of a knockoff of 'Rear Window.'
