And what was the scientific explanation for that? Kryptonians have that unique ability under a yellow sun. That is a scientific explanation? Then how does he turn back time in the first film? He did plenty of lightspeed travel during the Silver/Bronze age. He couldn't even fly for the first couple of years of his comic. How can you pin down the science of his abilities when his abilities are constantly re-defined Which was created in the 90s...after Superman The Movie

Ok then how does Superman fly?
Some background information: There was a book titled " The Science of Superman". The author attempted to provide scientific explanations for how Superman's powers work. For example, heat vision. Superman stores light from the yellow sun in his eyes and then redirects the light through the lenses of his eyes. The lenses of his eyes cause the light to turn into heat, similar to how you can use a magnifying glass to reflect sunlight and start a fire. The author attempted to provide scientific explanations for Superman's other powers as well. But the author didn't have a scientific explanation for how Superman flies because in order for something to fly, it has to generate lift (e.g. birds and planes generate lift using their wings, helicopters generate lift using their propellers). But Superman didn't appear to have any mechanism to generate lift so the author didn't have a scientific explanation for how Superman flies. A few years after that book was published, a DC Comics writer came up with a brilliant solution for how Superman flies. Lift basically has the opposite effect of gravity i.e. gravity pulls things down while lift "pulls" things up. So the solution was basically "anti-gravity". Under a yellow sun, Kryptonians have the ability to manipulate the gravitational field around themselves and any object they touch. So when Superman holds the helicopter with 1 hand or holds up 1 side of the passenger jet, he's able to manipulate the gravitational field around the entire helicopter or entire passenger jet. That's why the helicopter and the passenger jet don't break. That also explains why when Superman took Lois flying over Metropolis, he was able to just hold Lois by 1 hand and Lois' entire body remained horizontal rather than the rest of her body hanging down from her hand. Because Superman manipulated the gravitational field around Lois' entire body. Of course, like with most laws of physics, the heavier an object, the more force required. That's why it took a lot more effort for Superman to manipulate the gravitational field around the entire passenger jet as opposed to manipulating the gravitational field around the helicopter or around Lois. And all of this is an answer as to how could Superman do any of these things, but isn't proof that's what he does because this guy is not actually in control of the stories and it's just him theorising stuff, there's a difference between proof and a theory or an idea or a notion, this is maybe why Superman does this stuff, not this is how Superman does this stuff.
Also how does he explain Superman's odder powers, like his ability to create a mini superman with all his same powers? amnesia kiss? his ability to speed read, selectively enable certain parts of his body to enter "super speed" but not the rest of him?
Also doesn't gravity fuck with time meaning if anti gravity or shit like that is how he does half his stuff shouldn't that actually have a noticeable effect on humans when they are effected by it in some way?

X2 would probably fit in my top 10 with the MCU. It still has lightweight moments keeping it from truly competing (the school lockdown or whatever was dramatic action, & yet didn't feel tense)

But don't they tend to be indistinguishable from humans without the power of the yellow sun, how is it they don't appear different from humans when depowered, ie their dna doesn't seem to stand out as alien, they don't seem to posses any additional or distinguishable differences to their organs and such, just seems odd.

Kryptonians look similar to humans, but there are significant physiological differences. For example, the author of the book mentioned that auditory hair cells in the ear are the sensory receptors that allow humans to hear. Kryptonians have more auditory hair cells in their ear and those auditory hair cells are amplified under a yellow sun, which results in Kryptonians having super-hearing. Also, the author mentioned that human retinas have rods and cones that allow them to see different wavelengths. Kryptonians have more rods and cones that allow them to see more wavelengths than humans under a yellow sun. That results in X-Ray vision for Kryptonians.

Also doesn't speak to my point, why are they not distinguishable from humans without their powers, on Smallville they had Kryptonians living alongside humans for decades without powers yet their alien heritage was unnoticed.
Also again this is all theory from someone trying to explain a handful of Supermans powers, but most likely theres no scientific way to justify all of them, similar to the I-Rex thing in Jurassic World, as someone did a video on, the I-Rex's camouflaging and heat regulating cannot work at the same time based on where those abilities were originated from.

The difference in physiology gives Kryptonians the ability for enhanced hearing and sight, but those abilities are only amplified under a yellow sun. It's similar to how plants can produce oxygen through photosynthesis, but they need sunlight in order to do that. If you keep a plant in the dark without any sunlight, the it can't produce any oxygen even though it has the ability to.

If you keep a plant in the dark without any sunlight, the it can't produce any oxygen even though it has the ability to. that may work with sight idk tbh but sounds bullshit for hearing, how does extra hairs meant to enhance hearing only work when exposed to yellow sun radiation, actually how does the sight thing work via yellow sun radiation? shouldn't extra cones and shit simply amplify his vision regardless?
The super power parts of his enhancements I get needing the radiation to activate those powers but shouldn't him having more of this things we humans have enhance his sight and hearing beyond ours regardless? not to extreme levels but certainly above that of a normal person even under a red sun?
Also the whole storing energy thing for his heat vision works only in versions of the story where the effects of a yellow sun are not instant, the amount of stories where blocking the yellow sun or placing him under a red sun immediately renders Superman powerless means he doesn't store energy at all, if he needs a constant fix of the stuff that is, though I prefer it when the lack of a yellow sun reduces his strength and speed over time until he's left powerless, this makes the heat vision theory work imo.
But back to my point why aren't Kryptonians detectable as aliens when their powers are simply shut off, they should still be identifiable as non humans, but they aren't, also as I said none of this is proof it's just theory on possible ways Supermans powers maybe explained, but they mean nothing, another theory is simply under the yellow sun Kryptonians exude pixie dust out of their skin which is why they can do all this crap so long as they simply believe they can hard enough.

Well, in photosynthesis, plants convert light energy into chemical energy that can later be released to fuel the plant's activities. Similarly, those extra auditory hair cells and retinal rods and cones may be activated by chemical energy that's generated from yellow sun radiation. But back to my point why aren't Kryptonians detectable as aliens when their powers are simply shut off Because Kryptonians look like normal humans. There's no way when looking at Superman or Supergirl in their "human' identities that anyone call tell that they have extra auditory hair cells or extra retinal rods and cones.

But still goes back to my question of how can they not be detected as aliens once their powers are gone, not talking momentarily and on a superficial level, but if/when they need medical treatment or would have to go to the doctor for a checkup, which is something in some stories Kryptonians who lived without powers on earth for a prolonged period of time would have to have been through, surely if their body creates a chemical reaction when exposed to yellow sun that's something someone would notice in scans or bloodwork, also why would all the added hairs and cones be inactive but not the others that allow for human level senses, why would Kryptonians evolve to having these added features that they could not utilise in their natural environment?
Also if that's how they do and have these powers how can they be transferred from them to others? even if you gave Lois Superman's ability to metabolise yellow sun energy she doesn't posses any of his other purely Kryptonian physiological differences so how can she super hear, use heat vision, x-ray vision, enhanced sight and all this other stuff?
All the stuff you said isn't an answer to how he does this stuff just a theory on how someone could have this power, but for every answer is a dozen yeah buts, so it's all just bollocks.

Logan is a good film. It would be dead last in that list of movies for me though. The character arc and Jackman's performance worked well for me but, everything else felt like Old Man Logan light. Patrick Stewart is a highlight of the film for sure. I didn't care much for X-23, X-24 the super-powered version of the Bad News Bears, or Dr. Rice. Pierce was on the verge of being interesting, but it all fell apart for him in the third act. From a pure fanboy standpoint I would've preferred Omega Red, and from a character standpoint Cyber made way more sense, BUT: I get why, in their conceit of the XCU as basically a long story in which Wolverine is the protagonist, the only/most credible threat they could throw at him after ten damn films was a younger clone of himself. It made sense to me given the way the previous films were made. After I first saw Logan, I thought that it would have been better if Sabertooth was in it instead of X-24. But then I realized they were trying to make a message with X-24. X-24 represents the part of Logan that he is afraid of inside of himself. He is merciless killer who lacks any compassion or emotion. Logan is terrified when he first sees X-24 because he is a dark reflection of all of his worst traits. He is what Logan has feared becoming since he first learned of his abilities. When Logan stands up to X-24 in the final battle in the movie, he is finally facing all of his fears head on. X-24 mortally wounded Logan, but Laura killed him before he could finish him off. This means that Logan's love for Laura is what finally freed him from all of the darkness within himself. He was able to die finally being free.

Love it back when comic book movies were serious now we are lucky to get one serious movie these days Well, X2 was based on the classic god loves, man kills story line. the main theme was genocide and a near holocaust of an entire race due to a man's messed up ''religious'' prejudice. you can't expect an adaption of the movie to be light hearted and based on jokes. it had to be gritty and compelling. also anyone remember this classic bloody scene that still made it to pg 13 THIS IS XMEN, NOT KIDDIE MCU MARVEL. X2 has no business getting compared to mcu marvel. it insults X2

Its one of the best stories that shows Magnetos tentative yet sympathetic relationship to the Xmen and was also one of the very few stories that challenges religious doctrine of prosthelytizing by extremist preachers in mainland America.

Watched it again fairly recently and I have to say it hasn't help up very well. It's still one of the better X films, but considering how terrible almost all of them are, that isn't saying much.
Top Tier: Logan Deadpool First Class
Second Tier: X2
Garbage Can: Everything else.
It blows my mind how many people hold DoFP up as a quality X-Men film. It was every bit as awful as X3 or Apocalypse, so much of the story makes absolutely no sense at all.

I think you need to ask yourself how people came to the conclusion that it was much superior to the best MCU movie in 2014. as always poor winter solider. I think the reason mcu fans find it awful was because in 2014, mcu FINALLY made a grown up film only for it to be dismissed by the superior DOFP, that was awful and heart breaking for MCU fans. notice only MCU fans call it awful? that was why. top tier= first class, what we call an alternate best film along with deadpool, a movie black panther is a poorer quality off. its been 4 years, get over it, but also prepare when mcu xmen fails to get to the quality level of DOFP and is destroyed by fans, film makers and critics who wont be able to lie that xmen is haha jokey childish comedy like most mcu movies are all thanks to films like DOFP. the best comic film since tdk as of 2014 poor winter solider.
