It's silly sure, but I don't really care so long as there aren't laws being made to cater to it (as well as Halal and any other religious dietary guidelines)

We don't do hunting in this country. A very small minority of rich inbreds and their mutant thicko lackeys engage in it, but they are widely despised by the 75-80% of the population that hates them for it. |

Buddhism is the closest I come to having a 'religion', though technically it is a philosophy, not a religion. I am an animal rights activist and volunteer for and support humane rescue groups. I can't stand the thought of animals suffering when they could be humanely rendered unconscious for slaughter. I am also vegetarian, because I don't want a sentient being to die for my benefit. |

IMO non-therapeutic circumcision of children should be banned irrespective of whichever religious people or fashionable people do it. Whether it is Jews or Muslims or Christians, none should be allowed it. Freedom of religion should be for individuals to follow their religion not to force it on babies.
