Yes, I loved it. It's a sequel to Superman II Seconded. Better than III and IV. Another vote for Superman Returns. I'm a big fan of it. I think Kate Bosworth is the best onscreen Lois, but your mileage may vary on that. ETA: It's exactly how I would've done a Superman sequel if given carte blanche. And... it failed commercially, so...

I love the asthetic on Krypton... The ice. The crystals. The glowing suits. It's just really sci fi-ish and it looks great. I hadn't seen the movie since the 90s and watched it last summer, and the effects (particularly in that opening sequence) are one of the things that really stood out to me. I watched I-IV and Returns over like a week and a half and enjoyed them all a ton, even III and IV.

I saw it at 7 or 8 and the opening scene was really cool.
"The vote must be unanimous Jor-El."
It's dramatically very well done. And I think the stuff with Trevor Howard talking to the Krypton sentry about the power levels and Jor-El setting himself up for the Phantom Zone exile was kind of chilling.
Also the football kick. That really was something.
Stan Lee said they borrowed ideas from Spider-man for the Smallville sequence. Seems so--isn't Brad like Flash Thompson?
"Are we going to Addis Ababa?"

Love these scenes! Notice who is in the train? Careful... He may not have... There are at least three official cuts of the film, as far as I know... The Theatrical, The Special Edition (DVD), & The Television Cut... As I recall, the dialog part of the scene inside the passenger train was not in the Theatrical Cut... There is at least one other upcoming big sequence that was not in the the Theatrical Cut too... It sounds like he is watching the Theatrical Cut.

As I recall, the dialog part of the scene inside the passenger train was not in the Theatrical Cut... I remember the train dialogue from the theatrical cut in 78. I definitely remember the "mother" of Lois Lane speaking because I watched the show at the time and thought--hey, I know her. I don't remember the "father" speaking though.

I really like the city flying scenes. One of the things that sucks with Spider-man movies is they didn't do that. Having him just swinging around the city for a few minutes. Even that Lois thought monologue thing doesn't bother me (since she is a reporter-I accepted it as her thinking as if she was writing a poem).

It could be a "Mandela Effect", but in my head, I absolutely remember seeing Noel in the theater. I don't remember if the lines were there or not.

I am sure young Lois Lane had some lines--I can't be positive her mother did. But I am sure they showed her at least.

As I said, I am pretty sure that the "dialog" scenes on the train were not part of the Theatrical Cut... but it did show Lois watching Clark running past the train as he waves back at her...
I know, It's hard to remember what scenes were in what cut of the film...
For those of us that have seen the movie already (There are spoilers for those who have not)... Here are scene-by-scene reviews of the different cuts of the film:
And... since the train scene has already been mentioned...
And the Super-Long Cut with just about every scene shot for the movie:
