Seinfeld Cheers Twin Peaks The Office (I consider the ending when Michael left) Walking Dead (I consider the ending when Rick took a hiatus) Breaking Bad - didn't want to see Walt die. Was a rather unepic death even though he saved Jesse.
Used to love Dexter and Rescue Me; however show hit the wall a couple of seasons prior to the end so I've never seen the endings

I've got the first season of both Deadwood and Boardwalk Empire on DVD - great shows - however never felt compelled to buy the 2nd and final seasons as the show was losing steam towards the end of the first.
Was rather shocked in Deadwood Wild Bill Hickock bit the dust - somebody spoil it for me - did somebody end up killing off Calamity Jane too?
And Boardwalk Empire - did Nookie's kid he protected (i.e. the kid that aligned with Al Capone and came back) and Irish immigrant leach end up turning on him?

To be fair, Twin Peaks didn't really end. After Season 2, it was canceled. After Season 3, I'm fairly certain they are intent on making future seasons.

And are there 3 Coopers?

Sure, the last season was not nearly as good on a whole, but the finale was.

Most finales are underwhelming at best, but Dexter and Seinfeld come to mind as particularly lame.

I just remember they had a pretty epic cast of stars come in for 'appearances' - i.e. the Will Ferrells and James Spaders of the world applying for the job which was a great fun - but just eventually tuned out.....

Lost Lost Lost Lost Lost Lost Lost Lost
Bad but better than Lost...
St. Elsewhere ("A" for thinking outside the box) Boardwalk Empire (rushed) Sons of Anarchy (lets kill everyone!)
Had some problems with Dexter. Hated "Deb into the storm" shit. Liked having Dexter being a nobody with nothing but memories. Breaking Bad was perfect. Walt couldn't get away with it. No how, no way
Can't count shows that dies a slow death, All in the Family, I Love Lucy etc.
Did I mention that I hated the ending of Lost?

I agree with you 100%. The last two seasons were pretty lame. I still enjoyed them, but they definitely lost the magic. Michael came back for the final two episodes and they were really well done.

will have to watch those last 2 episodes. fantastic show. used to have a 'Dwight' bobblehead on my desk at work.
have owned the British version on DVD for years which I've heard rave reviews about - but have yet to give it a watch.

“Lost” comes immediately to mind. I was a big fan of that show. Never before and never since has there been a TV show in which each new episode was an event that I so eagerly anticipated. Moments after each episode aired, I’d go to the IMDb boards and there’d be dozens of new threads about it – then the following day there’d be lively conversations in real life. And all of it was ruined by that disgrace of a finale.
I hated the “Star Trek – Enterprise” finale as well, but not nearly as much – it certainly didn’t ruin the whole series for me. It was just one particularly bad episode.
“Battlestar Galactica” is another one for the list, although it wasn’t just the very end that was bad – the entire last season, and possibly the one before as well, was pretty lame.
I didn’t think the Seinfeld or the Dexter finales were all that bad.
