I saw The Ice Storm maybe 18 years ago. I didn't quite like it then. I watched it again after I first made a thread like this and sadly it still didn't do it for me. I'll look into some of the others though. Thank you.

I might have seen Little Children, but I don't remember. I think it's been on my watch list, but for many years. I'll look into the other. Thank you.

The Plague Dogs The Reflecting Skin Papillion The Devils I have seen Papillion. I wasn't really a fan. Animated movies aren't what I'm looking for when speaking of The Plague Dogs. And The other one was said to have some horror in it. Not for me. Thank you though.

The Plague Dogs The Reflecting Skin Papillion The Devils The Devils. Grandier. I want to see that film again SO BADLY. A Ken Russell extravagenza. But for depressing, you cannot beat American Heart.

Watch an hour of Fox News, then watch an hour of CNN. There's your depressing 2-hr movie.
I found Lonesome Dove pretty depressing. Great story, but it seems almost everyone dies. I think the story was to portray the old west like it probably really was...ile. not made up of unbreakable heroes.
