If any of you do see it then just remember before you watch it that.....I did warn you! I am 20 minutes into it and I am hating it. I wish I had known it was a Gaspar Noe film. (I used to know this but I forgot it.) There are some film artists whose style just grates on my nerves. The psychedelic camerawork is too annoying. How do you feel about it now ?

Leaving Las Vegas was the most depressing film I've watched in awhile.

I rewatched disconnect (2012) last week - about the impact of the internet on various suburban lives - and that was a real downer. Well worth seeing.

When the Wind Blows The Last Man on Earth The Road Gran Torino Ringing Bell Sadly The Road and Gran Torino didn't do it for me. I especially thought The Road would though.

I know I've made a thread about this before, and I watched some of the movies mentioned in it, but sadly they weren't "depressing" enough. Anyone got any really good ones? Legends of the Fall Atonement Sophie's Choice Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father I own Legends of the Fall and I've seen Atonement. Sophie's Choice, since Meryl Streep annoys me, probably won't be seen.
