Wow. That's big news. Is he moving to the Celtics or the Lakers? Or he will stay in NO till next season? I am sure @screamingtreefrogs wants him too at Philly.

This attitude, while understandable, is also annoying. “I want to be moved to a team that wins!” How about staying and helping your team win?

I agree with your post BTW.

He will probably go to LA. This has Lebron written all over it. Davis is kind of a punk here. He is injured right now and not helping his team, yet wants to be traded?

I thought he wanted to go to a winner? Golden State can't get everyone.... Can they?

I thought he wanted to go to a winner? Celtics have won more championships than any other NBA team.

I thought he wanted to go to a winner? Celtics have won more championships than any other NBA team. Sure, but as exciting as it would be to see Anthony Davis go back in time to 1957, I'd much rather he played for the Celtics now.

The NBA is going to be better off when LeBron finally retires. LeBron and his crew are toxic.
I hate to say it but I don’t think Ben Simmons is going to stay with the Sixers. He is signed with LeBron’s group and dating a Kardashian. He’ll be a Laker soon enough.

So you can watch him get hurt everytime someone breathes on him? Yeah, he'll be great nursing some injury on the bench during the 2nd round.....

Yeah, he'll be great nursing some injury on the bench during the 2nd round..... No worse than Hayward and Kyrie last season. I don't want to give up the farm for him but it's not like he couldn't help us.

I don't want to give up the farm for him but it's not like he couldn't help us. Dude, Hayward had his leg snapped in two the opening game of the season. It's not like he has a reputation for always being hurt. I've seen plenty of Anthony Davis falling to the court every time someone bumps into him. Not saying he's not a great player, just seems kinda fragile to me. He seems more Laker-like than Celtics material.

I wasn't ripping Hayward or Kyrie, just saying they weren't with the team down the stretch last year either. I've always been against trading for Davis for the exact reason you're pointing out here-- but we need what he brings to the game if we're going to contend for a title in the immediate future. At this point I'm willing to take my chances unless the trade guts the team significantly. Sure he could get hurt again, but so could Kyrie. Hayward may never be the same player he was before the injury.
