I've tried watching Fight Club a couple times, I find it boring beyond belief.
Also Citizen Kane. I recognize it for its place in history and the fine cinematography, but I find the actual film boring as f.
Also, I find all Star Wars boring.

Shawshank Redemption
Inception - HATED it when I first saw it, enjoyed it more on subsequent viewings but still find it tedious.

Anything to do with: Lord of the Rings Harry Potter Star Wars Star Trek Pretty much any Super Hero movie ......and find the Godfather series highly overrated although it's grown on me a tad over the years - just don't get all the over the top love it receives. But to each their own - I have favorites others regard as crap (like the cult classic AvP )

The Matrix, shows up high in a lot of lists. I found it unremarkable with bullet time a cool innovation. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon came out a few months later and blew it out of the water IMO. Bullet time was cool, wire-fu was cooler. Then 2 terrible sequels came out, further solidifying the original's plainness in my mind. I like Keanu though. Glad he found his way into a truly memorable action franchise with the John Wick films

You didn't enjoy the twist at the end of Fight Club at all?
Have owned the book (and movie) for years - it looks like a quick read - will actually have to read it at some point.......own a ton of Chuck Palahniuk books -

Or perhaps you might have meant famous movies that you hated.
I found Inception not good at all. I wouldn't even rate it good but it seems it is generally rated as being good by both the masses and the critics.

Glad he found his way into a truly memorable action franchise with the John Wick films Crouching Tiger is a master class in cinematography and fight choreography. Funny, I really enjoyed the Matrix when it came out, but the sequels totally ruined it for me. Usually I can separate entries within a series, but with the Matrix, they went in such stupid and pretentious directions, and the climactic battles are so monotonous that it just killed the entire thing for me.

I just listed it because it's in the IMDb top 250. I only really hated the bold ones.

Avatar (Avatarded) Anything by Christopher Nolan Any comic book movie Any Die Hard movie (or any like it) I'll go along with Fight Club (disappointing, I love Edward Norton usually)
Gee, I bet this goes over well, especially the third item

The Sound of Music Gone with the Wind Taxi Driver I found Taxi Driver an entertaining flick that kept my interest; however never before has a musical score just completely ruined the entire movie for me.
The 'jazzy' slow music made my ears bleed - own it - but don't think I can ever watch it again due to the musical score/soundtrack.
