charzhino is continuously proving himself as a pretentious pseudo-intellectual. I think you have me confused with someone else. Oh and btw that quicksilver scene is unintenionally funny. Guy cant even die without saying a joke, that 1 gif sums up the whole of MCU The fact that you're using a blooper to prove your point already shows how desperate you are.

Even the movies that have the same tone as The Dark Knight they see as too comedic. Which is funny when TDK has lots of humor in it.

FOX already disgraced and made the FOX-Men jokes or extremely laughable, corny stupid and jokes:
Magneto boasting about the "superiority" nd the "future" of mutants, intercut with the future mutants getting easily SLAUGHTERED by the Sentinels:
Or "Tough guy badass" Wolverine scared sh!tless over Stryker after just seeing him on the floor and Mystique's "attempt" to hide from Eric by TURNING INTO A BLACK WOMAN IN A SEA OF WHITE PEOPLE WITH AN AFRO AND A LOUD RED OUTFIT HOBBLING BETWEEN THE BARRIERS LOL:
Or how the hell DIDN'T Xavier detect something was wrong just by looking at Eric (with his goofy smiling face) or detecting an ambush, or use his freezing people or taking over other people power to stop this idiotic ambush in X2
OR the laughable way Raven defeated Eric here:
Or how "Tough guy badass" Wolverine was completely scared sh!tless over a damn cat:
Or how LAUGHABLE Silver Fox's "Death" was especially Wolverine's comically OTT "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" just as bad as Vader in Episode III and the fact that DUMB ASS Wolverine should have used his mutant senses to noticed that Silver Fox DIDN'T HAVE ANY OPEN WOUNDS OR THAT THE BLOOD WASN'T HERS, even before it was revealed that Sabretooth faked her death.
Or Ivan Ooze's comical stupid idiotic death here:
Or the laughable final fight and laughable "Death" of Barakapool in Origins:
Or the laughably bad final fight between Wolverine and the FOX-Men version of the "mecha" Silver Samurai (FOX-Men really understood the X-Men/Mutants right FOX-Men Fans):
The FOX-Men are more laughable (bad) than anything in the MCU.

Its gonna be hard for Xmen to work in the current mcu. Mutants are looked down upon and face discrimination(the old x men cartoon showed that well) You can't lighten that stuff down. Don’t worry. They got Ryan Coogler. So the X-Men are going to be CIA collaborators? Just kidding. That's probably something a producer wanted in Black Panther.

Captain Marvel will be the face of the Avengers moving forward. I think that's slightly misleading. She's been called the strongest Avengers repeatedly, but in previous phases that was Thor/Hulk, the 4th and 5th most important Avengers from a narrative standpoint in the team-up films. I think it'll be Strange, Spider-Man, and CM as the new Avengers Trinity, and the Cap-Tony dynamic will be Stephen and Carol, where they both see things from very different perspectives. Or they could scrap it all and have a scene at the end of Endgame where Steve 'knights' Panther as the guy, that would work too.

I think they have gotten to the point they see things as jokes when it actually isn't. Even the movies that have the same tone as The Dark Knight they see as too comedic. Which is funny when TDK has lots of humor in it. There is no self deprecation humour in TDK. Villains and heros are played straight. How you can have respect for characters when they're embarrasing themselves on screen is beyond me The characters in the MCU are played straight, also. The only self-deprecating humor is meta or even callbacks. Let's go through this list of GIFs you decided to put up thinking that any of it hurts the MCU. Banner slamming into the bridge is a callback to TIH. It's not self-deprecating at all and actually plays into the next movie. Quicksilver saying the phrase again just before he died was not meant as a joke, but as a tragedy showing his change of character. The way that part with Widow and Banner was played way differently than it was in Justice League. She was actually pulling him to safety (he was laying on the bar counter) and pulled him on top of her (she's still holding him on her). That Star-Lord dancing is his character. Callback to the beginning of the movie. Thor blooper.* That Ant-man train crash is humor through perspective. Kaecilius is situational humor. Then a blooper. To Thor, his hair is a part of his identity. Him not being able to stop someone from cutting it is the worst. Thor and Hulk are now buds. He has a bit of respect for Thor. Valkyrie wants desperately to forget her past and drinks to do so. What's wrong with Loki being upset that he was falling down an endless hole for 30 minutes? Trevor was a troll move and made me laugh out loud at you guys crying over it. Selvig went nuts after the events of Avengers.
But they can't all be like the X-men movies. Actually saying how stupid the X-men are as a concept and how stupid the comics are. And even saying how stupid previous movies are. How stupid each of the characters are.
*Wrong about that being a blooper (watching it now). It was a distraction. He was waiting on Vision. You guys really hate distractions, huh?

The characters in the MCU are played straight, also. Gifs suggest otherwise Why does everything have to be played as a joke though. Theres enough quips and other general good humour without adding all that junk humour illustrated in the gifs. You say Valkiry wants to drink and forget her past. Why have a stupid scene stumbling out of the aircraft like a badass then immediately embarras her character as she falls off the side like a looney tunes character? Why not take her alcoholic past seriously so when she does decide to join Thor in his quest its a significant character moment. Trevor makes you laugh...for what 10 seconds? The movies completely destroyed after that point and we have to endure a boring villain in Aldrich Killian and disrespects the real mandarins character. Selvig goes nuts, put him in a real psych ward and play on the real psychological impact that an alien probing his mind would leave instead of making him an object of patheticness. The dance off makes Ronan look like a buffoon. He looks ominous and credible in Captain Marvel. All excuses. When writers dont have respect for heros and villains you get silly junk bathos "humour" like that.

The dance off makes Ronan look like a buffoon. He looks ominous and credible in Captain Marvel. All excuses. When writers dont have respect for heros and villains you get silly junk bathos "humour" like that. But all of them are played straight. The problem you are having is looking at it from the outside. Valkyrie falling off the side of that ramp is funny to you, but looking at it from the characters in the movie's perspective, it wasn't funny at all. And she doesn't have an alcoholic past. She's drinking to forget her past and when it is revealed why she is drinking now, it is shown as tragic and not played for a laugh. Notice that when her past is revealed she sobers up. And Trevor was never the real Mandarin. You can tell that even in the movie. They tell you in the movie that he is an actor that has gone through cosmetic surgery. And Killian is never boring. Your problem is that you wanted the Mandarin and not AIM as the villain and it stole that from you so you cried and pouted afterward. I laughed cause I pictured all of you pouting. And yes, it did disrespect the real Mandarin, that's why Trevor is dead. So you want an entire movie about Selvig being in a mental hospital? All Selvig needed was an outlet for what was in his head and he got that. Making Ronan look like a buffoon was the entire point. He didn't understand what this Terran was doing. None of them did. Even Gamora was looking at him like he was crazy.
They have total respect for them. That's the part you don't get. When you have movies like X-men and X2 putting down the characters or making them wallpaper instead of actually using them then you see where the disrespect is.
