As I get closer to God by praying and adhering to his laws and teachings,[attending mass, going to confession and receiving holy communion] it becomes easier to resist sin and temptation. It also reduces stress and depression for me and greatly improves my mood and well being.
I never felt this good when I was out of the Church and it was impossible to resist sin.

Jesus died 2000 years ago (assuming he existed at all); I wasn't born then. Since my "soul" and body are not separate, Jesus didn't do anything for either. And since I was born, neither me nor my country had their freedom taken away by a hostile force which was then defeated by the US Army. So no American soldier died for my freedom yet. |
